Description

The ATL Mobile App allows security operatives to recordincidentsand occurrences on a set or location over a given shift,producinga formal record for auditing and reporting. The data isuploaded toa central database back-end to allow statisticalanalysis andgenerate reports. Access to the app: The app requiresan access keythat is generated at the back end and emailed to theoperativebefore it will offer any functionality. Following theinstallationof the access key, the user will be asked to set up apassword sothat future access is only possible once a password isentered.Once logged in the operative is able to access the mainmenu of theapp where they can start their shift, log occurrencesand fileincident reports. Shift Logging: Operatives will be able tocreatea record of their shifts. The form operates in 2 modesenabling ashift to be started and completed. Daily OccurrenceRecords (DOR):Operatives can keep track of events that happen onassignments thatthey are working on to generate a complete log ofactivity on eachproduction/location. DORs can be of numerous types,set via a picklist. When the DOR is complete the record will besent to the backend via an API if a connection is available,otherwise the recordwill be stored until a connection becomesavailable. IncidentReports: Incident reports are required wheneveran Operative entersa DOR of type “Incident”. Incident Reports willbe stored forsubsequent transmission if no connection is availableat the pointof submission. Record count: A count of the recordswaiting to sendwill be displayed in the top bar of the app.Back-end API: Theadmin system is a browser based facility thatenables authorisedpersonnel to set up operatives to access the app,set upproduction, location and position details and view logrecordsentered by the operatives.
