10-20 maps the location of people going to an event for thedurationof the event. Designed to make it easy for a bunch ofpeople to meetup for an event without a stream of messages aboutwhere you're at.Say your meeting for a bike ride, not everybodyknows everyone else,some people have decided to stay in bed, someare running a fewminutes late and one person has a flat and willcatch up later.10-20 lets you quickly see where everyone is at andproceedaccordingly. Your privacy is central to the design of10-20. Nopersonally identifiable information, login or passwordare requiredby 10-20. We don't need or want access to yourcontacts, facebookaccount etc. Participants join an event byentering a unique 3 wordevent key, or with an event join link thatincludes the event key.There is no tracking history. Only yourlast location is kept for ashort time (approximately 20 minutes)and then deleted. Yourlocation is only displayed when you havetracking on AND the eventstatus is tracking on. You turn locationtracking on and off on themap page. The event creator can turntracking on and off on theevent detail page and delete the eventwhen it is over. There are NOADS. You can join events with thefree app, if you want to be ableto create events there is anin-app purchase to upgrade to eventcreator. This helps to supportcontinued app development and servercosts. 10-20 can be used to: *inform everyone of a change to ameeting point location. * catch uplater without worrying whereeveryone will be later. * see ifsomeone has been left behind. * seewhere everyone went if you gotleft behind (accidentally of course).* make sure everyone hasmoved on to the new spot on a tour. * keeptrack of family members.
