The exhibition The Deep focuses on theocean’sgreat depths and their associated fauna, ecosystems andbiologicalphenomena. Based on the vast iconographic search carriedout byClaire Nouvian (the exhibition curator and author of the bookTheDeep / University Chicago Press), the exhibition showcasesaselection of previously unseen photographs, some of whichareexclusive to this event, as well as extraordinary videofootagecollected from various research institutes around the world.Thejewel of the exhibition is the display of rare deep-seaanimalspecies, which allow the public to establish a directandirreplaceable contact with the reality of the distantdeep-seafauna.
