She has studied under the successfulinstructorCydni Hutson for over 24 years and has been a member ofherinstructional staff for over 10 years. Candace was a soloistandartist in Residence of Twin City Ballet Company. She hascompetedand performed all over the country at well-knownconventions andcenters, such as New York City Dance Alliance,Starpower, BroadwayDance Center, and Steps on Broadway in New YorkCity. She was namedRegional Outstanding Dancer numerous times atNew York City DanceAlliance and served as a junior member ofSouthern Association ofDance Masters. Candace also performed in anoff-broadway productioncalled “Shake the Floor,” where sheperformed with “So You Think YouCan Dance” runner-up Danny Tidwelland “SYTYCD” winner Travis Wall.Candace has studied underprestigious, world-renowned dancers, suchas Joe Tremaine, DebraAllen, “So You Think You Can Dance”choreographers Tabitha andNapoleon, Tyce Diorio, Nick Lazzareni,Mia Michaels, and RayLeeper, to name a few. Candace continues totravel to competitionsand conventions to further her danceknowledge and stay currentwith new trends. Her choreography has wonnumerous awards all overthe country. During her college career,Candace was a LouisianaTech cheerleader for 3 years and a member ofthe Regal Blues danceteam for 1 year.
