The wolf has been replaced by a new typeofanimal known as the End Wolf Mod MCPE. Its shape looks muchsimilarto an ordinary wolf but some of the differences are that ithaspurple eyes and a black fur. It also has an attack abilitysimilarto that of a shulker which is one of the mobs in the End(which bythe way is a new dimension introduced in 1.0 of MinecraftPE).

How does it work?

The End Wolf is tamed by feeding it some bones. Themaindifference which you will notice as soon you find one isitsappearance. It looks similar to an enderman but it hasthecharacteristics of a shulker.

Its default attack is by shooting shulker projectiles whichbothdamage the enemy and make them levitate for a short whilebeforecrashing down into the ground, usually killing them.

But you’ve got to be careful that you aren’t hit by aprojectileyourself as then you will start to levitate. However, thefallisn’t dangerous enough to kill you.
