La zonaècompresa fra un incerto punto delle parti di Capo Mele eSaintTropez in Francia. Nella parte francese si chiama CostaAzzurra, inquella italiana Riviera dei Fiori.
Sanremo fu riportato ad una nuova vita nel 1947 subito dopo lafinedella guerra che l’aveva ridotto male.
Dal 31 dicembre 1972 il campo è nella sua forma attuale: 18buche,par 69, 5203 metri.
Il campo è certamente bello, anche se ad alcuni giocatoridilettantipuò sembrare semplice, è in realtà molto insidioso ecostruito perpunire chi è troppo ardito e si affida in modoimprudente allapropria abilità.
Non resta quindi che provarlo.
