What is the Chamber of Commerce?
The Katy Area Chamber of Commerce is a voluntary organizationofbusiness and professional men and women who have joined togethertobuild and enhance an outstanding quality of life forourcommunity.

The community's business development is directly related tothecaliber of work that is done by the Chamber. The Katy AreaChamberhas a major impact on business, income and future growth ofthearea.
The primary functions of the Chamber of Commerce:
(1) it acts as spokesman for the business and professionalcommunityand translates into action the cumulative vision of itsmembers,and
(2) it delivers specific services to enhance the quality of lifeandbusiness development opportunities for both our members andthecommunity as a whole.
Objectives of the Chamber
To promote a better understanding of the importanceofstrategically enhancing the business developmentopportunitieswithin our community.
To coordinate the efforts of commerce, industry andprofessionalsin maintaining and strengthening a sound and healthybusinessclimate in the Katy Area.
To sponsor progressive programs of work and stimulateactivitiesthat will provide for full development and employment ofour humanand economic resources.
To provide creative business leadership andeffectivecoordination of all interested parties in solvingcommunityproblems and in initiating constructive communityaction.
To create broad understanding and appreciation of thegreatopportunities in the Katy area, and to promote the advantagesandassets of our cowithin the area, in the state, and intheworld.
