Lectures on Faith is a set of seven lectureson the doctrine of faith, as delivered to the School of theProphets at Kirtland, Ohio in 1835 by the Prophet Joseph Smith, ofthe Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (commonly referredto as the Mormons).

They address "faith itself - what it is," "the object on whichit rests," the necessary knowledge to "exercise faith in God untolife and salvation," the "being, character, perfections, andattributes, of God", the nature of the Godhead, the necessity ofknowing that "the course of life which [we] pursue is according tothe will of God," and the effects that flow from faith."

This app edition is the 1940 publication compiled by N.B.Lundwall, and includes - in addition to the Lectures on Faith - theHistorical Sketch of the Lectures on Faith by Dr. John A. Widstoe,The Holy Ghost and the Holy Spirit by President Joseph F. Smith,True Faith by Elder Orson Pratt, and writings on Melchizedekincluded in the 1940 edition.
