It should be noted that among the dhikr and prayers whichareprescribed for a Muslim in a day and night is dhikr morningandevening, even this type of dhikr is the dzikir which is boundtothe most time mentioned in the arguments, both the context oftheproposition is to encourage a Muslim to say it and thecontextmentions the kinds of dhikr that are spoken at these twomain times(morning and evening). Allah Ta'ala Said, وَسَبِّحُوهُبُكْرَةًوَأَصِيلًا "And exalt Him morning and afternoon." هُوَالَّذِييُصَلِّي عَلَيْكُمْ وَمَلَائِكَتُهُ لِيُخْرِجَكُمْمِنَالظُّلُمَاتِ إِلَى النُّورِ ۚ وَكَانَ بِالْمُؤْمِنِينَ رَحِيمًا“Itis He who confers blessing upon you, and His angels [ask Him todoso] that He may bring you out from darknesses into the light.Andever is He, to the believers, Merciful“ It is proven inSaheehMuslim that Abu Hurayrah رضي الله عنه said: A man came totheProphet ﷺ and said: O Messenger of Allah, I was stung by ascorpionlast night. He said: “If you had said, when evening came,‘A’oodhubi kalimaat Allaah al-taammah min sharri ma khalaq (I seekrefugein the perfect words of Allah from the evil of that which Hehascreated)’, it would not have harmed you.” Narrated byMuslim(2709).
