Radio Salve Regina est née le 1er Octobre1993. Par son nom (qui évoque la célèbre prière mariale mais aussil’hymne corse traditionnel le « Dio vi salvi Regina ») elle veut,dans sa très modeste réalité s’affirmer à la fois catholique,mariale, Corse, et proche de ceux qui l’écoutent. Elle est à ladisposition de l’évangélisation en Corse, pour le développementreligieux, social, rural et culturel du peuple Corse. Elle a étéfondée sur l’initiative des frères capucins du couvent SaintAntoine à Bastia. A ce jour, les fréquences sont :

97.9 FM pour Bastia et sa région
100.4 FM pour Corte et le centre de l’île
93.6 FM pour Calvi et sa région
94.6 FM pour la Castagniccia

Elle est l’une des cinq radios nationales co-fondatricesde laCOFRAC (communauté francophone de radios chrétiennes), travaillantde ce fait dans un esprit fraternel chrétien avec un grand nombrede radios en métropole, Outremer, et autres pays Francophones.
