The Canadian Society for PsychomotorLearningand Sport Psychology (SCAPPS) had its beginnings inEdmonton in1969 as a meeting of scholars, both faculty and graduatestudents,interested in research in psychomotor learning andsportpsychology. It was founded as a society in Banff, Alberta,in1977.
