Stereo Test is the simplest, yet the most convenient (andleaststartling) app for testing whether both of your speakersarefunctional and oriented correctly.. or if you placed eachheadphonein the right ear. If you have a phone, or tablet withstereospeakers, this app will help you check if both speakers areplayingcorrectly and equally loud. If you just placed yourheadphones inyour ears and the fit is perfect but you aren't surewhether"Right" is REALLY right, this app will tell you without theneed toremove the headphones. If you have an external, stereoset-up, youcan easily check whether the left and right speakershave beenplaced correctly and/or are functional. "Left" channelsound isreally just 100% left, and right is really just 100% right.Samesound, same volume, constant sound, no confusing transitions.The"Stereo Test for speakers & headphones" is simple yetfillsseveral gaps that bothered me with available apps - most ofthemhad transitions or leakage between channels leading to"falsepositives", while there was no way to toggle between justplaying aconstant sound on a given channel (so I could tinker withmyspeakers until I could hear the sound correctly) and just ashortsound (~20 seconds) that would stop playing by itself so Icandetermine which headphone is "right", jump out of the appandstraight into the music with no need to close the app. ThisStereoSound Test has a setting for that and does both.Additionally, thesound is pulsating, constant and a few tonesquieter than musicwould be at the same volume level of your device,making it theleast startling stereo tester.
