The Great North Maths Hub is part of a newinitiative designed to build on the excellent practice andachievement that already exists widely across the school andcollege system. The hub, which is funded by the Department forEducation will provide strategic local leadership ensuring allschools receive tailored maths education support suited to specificneed. Working in partnership with schools, colleges, universitiesand maths experts, the Great North Maths Hub will harness teachingexpertise and best practice within the area, for the benefit of allpupils and students in Tyne and Wear and Northumberland.
