חשיבות גדולה היא לברך ברכת מזון מתוך הכתב וזוהי אחתהסגולות
היותר ידועות לפרנסה טובה, לפרנסה ברווח ובשפע.
מעלת וסגולת ברכת המזון בכוונה ובשמחה:
כל הזהיר בברכת המזון מזונותיו מצויין לו בכבוד על ימי חייו (ספרהחינוך מצווה תל')
מי שמברך ברכת המזון בכוונה, בקול רם ובשמחה, יזכה לפרנסה ועושר,שנאמר ברכת ה' היא תעשיר, ולא יוסיף עצב עמה" (סגולות ישראל מערכת פ'אות יט בשם מרן החיד"א)
לפני ברכת המזון יכוון לקיים מצוות עשה מהתורה של ברכת המזון.
הלכה: כותב השולחן ערוך: "צריך שישמיע לאוזניו מה שמוציא בשפתיו,ואם לא השמיע לאוזניו יצא, ובלבד שיוציא בשפתיו" (שו"ע הלכות ברכתהמזון סימן צ' סעיף ב')
לכן לכתחילה יש לומר ברכת המזון בקול ומתוך הכתב על מנת שישמע אתמילות ברכת המזון.
