The ATIC terminology is a nursing interface vocabulary aim ateasing the representation of the observations on individuals'health status - assessment -, clinical judgment - diagnoses andoutcomes -, and interventions. The acronym ATIC contains theconcepts of : Architecture, Terminology, Interface, Information,Nursing and Knowledge, in the catalan spelling. ATIC app is a toolto support nursing clinical judgment, containing the diagnosticconcepts of the ATIC terminology for its use in the clinicalpractice. This app is addressed to registered nurses, nursespecialists, nurse managers, researchers and lecturers, as well asgraduate and post-graduate nursing students, or other healthcareprofessionals interested in discovering or widening their knowledgeon this standardized language system. Conents are organized into 4main sections allowing diagnosis location and consultation: (1)General Index, structuring the diagnoses alphabetically, (2)Specialties, introducing the diagnoses into several knowledgesettings, (3) Topics, organizing the diagnoses onto thematic groupsand (4) Search, allowing keyword searches to locate and consultdiagnoses. The app also offers a language option from english tospanish and a general information section. Each diagnosis containsits code, diagnostic label, definition (with images, if needed),information on causes, manifestations, risk factors or otherassertional knowledge, synonyms and/or almost-synonyms, and finallythe year of the last update. The user may also browse the appcontents using internal links, which ease quick consultation ofrelated diagnoses.
