Description

Objectif: Offrir aux enseignants de Langues Africaines un outilpermettant une informatisation rapide et modulaire de leurenseignement, pour mettre à la disposition des apprenants parlantdéjà une "Langue dite De Base" un autre outil conviviald’apprentissage d’une autre "Langue dite Nouvelle". Dans cettedémonstration, la Langue de Base est le Français, et la LangueNouvelle est le Fotouni, une Langue Maternelle du Cameroun. Notreméthodologie s'est inspirée d’un allogène qui s’installe dans unquartier de majorité autochtone. Il apprend la langue locale sur letas, par petites phrases de la vie courante, et son assimilationdépend surtout de la fréquence d’audition et d’utilisation de cesphrases. L'enseignant conçoit les expressions à enseigner et lesclasse dans l'ordre pédagogique qui lui convient. Une expressionpeut par exemple être un mot ou une phrase. Chaque expressionretenue est ce que nous appelons Unité d'Enseignement (UE). Une UEpeut aussi être une Introduction ou une Explication, et pourquoipas une histoire. Pour chaque UE, l'enseignant enregistre unfichier sonore du texte en langue de base, et un autre du textecorrespondant en langue nouvelle. Il peut y associer une imageillustrative. Ces enregistrements effectués sont ensuite convertisen une base de données spéciale que l'apprenant utilisera à traversdes modules orientés soit vers la compréhension, soit vers lalecture des expressions écrites de la langue nouvelle. Pour lacompréhension, le module effectue la lecture d'une expression enl'une des deux langues, puis de sa traduction en l'autre. Une pauseest prévue après la lecture d'une expression, et une autre l'estaprès la lecture de la traduction. La première permet à l'apprenantd'essayer d'anticiper sur la traduction, et la deuxième permetd'assimiler la traduction en l'imitant. L'utilisateur peutsélectionner quelques expressions et les auditionner en bouclejusqu'à les maîtriser avant de passer aux suivantes. La possibilitéde chercher les expressions contenant un mot saisi offre unefonction de dictionnaire quand la base de données est riche (saisirdeux mots pour chercher une expression contenant les deux).L'informatisation permet à chacun d'ajuster à volonté la durée despauses, d'inverser le sens de la traduction, et même de présenterles UE dans un ordre aléatoire. Pour la confection d'un cours,voici ce que doit faire l'enseignant: - Concevoir la liste desexpressions à enseigner, - Saisir les éléments de ces expressionsdans une feuille Excel en suivant le canevas que nous tenons à sadisposition, - Procéder aux enregistrements sonores et visuelsnécessaires, ou les importer de toute source disponible, - Noustransmettre tous les éléments ci-dessus pour la confection de labase de données finale (en attendant que cette dernière étape soitdécentralisée). Et voici ce que nous devons faire: - Vérifier labonne codification des Identifications, - Créer la base de donnéesfinale et soit l'intégrer à l'application, soit la tenir àdisposition comme base de données externe utilisable à partir d'unecarte mémoire. Notre possibilité de produire en moins d'une heurela base de données correspondant à des éléments parfaitementconstitués permet à l’enseignant d’informatiser même une leçon enproduisant facilement un cours qu’un apprenant utiliserait soit enrévision, soit en auto-formation. Cette possibilité de produire uncours comme on produit des épisodes d’une série télévisée offre unesouplesse très appréciable. For making a course, this is whatmust be the teacher: - Develop a list of phrases to teach, - Enterthe elements of these expressions in an Excel sheet following thetemplate that we hold to it, - Make the necessary audio and visualrecordings, or import them from any available source, - We send allitems above for making the final database (until this last step isdecentralized). And this is what we must do: - Check the correctcoding of IDs, - Create the final database or integrate with theapplication, or keeping it available as a basic usable externaldata from a memory card. Our ability to produce in less than anhour the database matching perfectly formed elements allows theteacher to computerize even a lesson in easily producing a coursethat a learner would use either revision or self-training . Thisability to produce a product as being episodes of a televisionseries offers a very significant flexibility.
