Yā Sīn (Arabic: سورة يس‎) is the 36th chapter of the Qur'an with 83ayat, and is one of the Meccan suras, although some scholarsmaintain that verse 12 is from the Madinan period.[1] The name ofthe chapter comes from the two letters of the first verse of thechapter,[2] which has caused much scholarly debate, and whichTafsir al-Jalalayn, a Sunni Tafsir, interprets by saying "Allahknows best what He means by these."[3] Yā Sīn is also one of thenames of the Prophet Muhammad, as reported in a saying of ʿAlī ibnAbī Ṭālib: “I heard the Messenger of God say, ‘Verily God has namedme by seven names in the Quran: Muhammad [3:144; 33:40; 47:2;48:29], Aḥmad [61:6], Ṭā Hā [20:1], Yā Sīn [36:1], thou enwrapped[al-Muzammil; 73:1], thou who art covered [al-Mudaththir; 74:1],and servant of God [ʿAbd Allāh; 72:19]’”[4]The sura focuses onestablishing the Qur'an as a divine source, and it warns of thefate of those that mock Allah's revelations and are stubborn. Thesura tells of the punishments that plagued past generations ofnonbelievers as a warning to present and future generations.Additionally, the sura reiterates Allah's sovereignty asexemplified by His creations through signs from nature.Surah YaseenShareef in MP3Surah Yaseen Shareef Translation in English andHindiSurah Yaseen Shareef is one of the surah from 26 surah

Surat ar-Rahman (Arabic: سورة الرحمن, 'The Most Merciful') oral-Rahman, is the 55th sura of the Qur'an with 78 ayats. It has therefrain: 'Then which of your Lord's blessings would you deny?'Oneof the main aims of the sura is to chastise men and jinn for theirlack of gratitude towards Allah, who has showered them with anabundance of blessings. Verses 1-30 describe some of the resources(fruits, palm trees, husked grain, fragrant plants, fresh and saltwater, pearls, ships) that Allah has graciously provided for themen and jinn he created, in his infinite mercy, out of clay andsmokeless fire (55:14), and set down under a sky illuminated by thetwin risings of the sun and moon (55:17). In addition to thesematerial blessings, verses 1-4 recount the fact that Allah taughtman how to communicate and even gave him the Qur'an to guide him onthe path to righteousness. The refrain, 'Which, then, of yourLord's blessings do you both deny?', chastises thebountifully-provided for men and jinn for failing to acknowledgetheir indebtedness to Allah for his tremendous mercy. Thepunishment that awaits these ungrateful creatures is brieflydescribed in verses 35-45; for the remainder of the sura, thedelights of the gardens of paradise (replete with shading branches, flowing springs, fruit, maidens, couches, cushions, and finecarpets) are lyrically described, punctuated throughout by thestinging refrain which draws attention to the discrepancy betweenAllah's mercy in providing such luxuriant rewards and theingratitude of men and jinn. The idea that man's gratitude towardsAllah is not commensurate with Allah's tremendous mercy is acentral, recurring theme in the Qur'an, especially in the earlyMeccan suras, and Sura 55 is an important poetic treatment of thistheme. The sura also exemplifies the Qur'an's tendency to beself-referential and self-validating, as when in verse 2 itemphasizes the fact that Allah taught the Qur'an to man out ofmercy. In terms of theological developments, Al-Rahman introduces athree-tiered classification of men and jinn: the best of believers('those near to God', the muqarrabīn who will ascend to the highergarden of paradise), the ordinary believers ('those at his right',the ashāt al-yamīn who will enjoy the second garden of paradise),and the disbelievers (who will be punished in Hell). This divisionis echoed in the following sura, Al-Waqi'a.Finally, it is worthnoting that the sura is dominated stylistically by pairs, which inthe Qur'an are frequently employed as a sign of the divine. Tobegin with, it is addressed to a dual audience of men and jinn: inHaleem's translation of the refrain 'Which, then, of your Lord'sblessings do you both deny?', 'both' is understood to refer to menand jinn (likewise for the 'you and you' in Arberry's rendering).Natural phenomena are also referred to in pairs: for example, 'thesun and the moon' (55:5), 'the stars and the trees' (55:6), 'thetwo risings and the two settings [of the sun and the moon]'(55:17), and 'the two bodies of [fresh and salt] water' (55:19). Inaddition, paradise is described as consisting of two double gardens(55:62), each of which contain a pair of springs (55:50, 55:66) andfruit in pairs (55:52).Surah Al-Rahman in MP3/AudioSurah Al-RahmanTranslation in English and HindiSurah Al-Rahman is one of the surahfrom 26 surah

Surah Nooh / Surah Noah Noh1.4
FirozKhan
Sūrat Nūḥ (Arabic: سورة نوح‎, "Noah") is the 71st sura of theQur'an with 28 ayat. It is about the Islamic prophet Noah (Nūḥ) andhis complaint about his people rejecting all warning Allah gavethem through Noah.SummaryIn Nuh, the 71st surah, the Quran refersto Nuh’s prophethood in snippets. Nuh is a messenger of Allah. WhenNuh realizes the messages are not accepted by the community, hesupplicated to Allah. Allah planned to flood the community of Nuhat a specificied time. Allah commanded Nuh to warn the people ofthe flood. Allah brings forth the water from the skies to proveNuh’s message to be accurate. In the Quran, the flood is asymbolization of the mercy of Allah to the believers. Allah givesthe world a new beginning. The disbelievers disbelieved God'smessage and messenger Nuh so they were drowned. Because his peopleare unable to grasp the idea of the existence of one God, the livesof Muhammad and Nuh are parallel to each other for the time of therevelation of this surah. The surah was used to increase the faithof the believers; it shows that Nuh before Muhammad haddifficulties in dealing with the disbelievers of his time.Ayat 1–4discusses the message Nuh received from Allah to share with hiscommunity, to serve God.In Ayat 5–20, Nuh informs God that hispeople are not accepting his message. Nuh tries to make clear tothe people that all of the Earth, the sun, the moon are signs ofAllah’s existence. In Ayat 21–24, Nuh asks Allah to rid the world ofthe evildoers because they refused to abandon their idols andencourage others to do the same.In Ayat 25–28,the disbelievers wereall drowned and sent to Hell (as a result of the flood). Nuh asksAllah to forgive the believers and to destroy the disbelieversbecause their faith will lead many astray.

Name The Surah takes its name al-Mulk from the very first sentence.Period of Revelation It could not be known from any authentictradition when this Surah was revealed, but the subject matter andthe style indicate that it is one of the earliest Surahs to berevealed at Makkah. Theme and Subject Matter In this surah, on theone hand, the teachings of Islam have been introduced briefly, and,on the other, the people living in heedlessness have been arousedfrom their slumber in a most effective way. A characteristic of theearliest surahs of the Makkan period is that they present theentire teachings of Islam and the object of the Holy Prophet'smission, not in detail, but briefly, so that they are assimilatedby the people easily. Moreover, they are particularly directed tomake the people shun heedlessness, to make them think, and toarouse their dormant conscience. In the first five verses man hasbeen made to realize that the universe in which he lives is a mostwell organized and fortified Kingdom in which he cannot detect anyfault, any weakness or flaw, how ever hard he may try to probe. This Kingdom has been brought from nothing into existence by AllahAlmighty Himself and All the powers of controlling, administeringand ruling it are also entirely in Allah's hand and His power isinfinite. Besides, man has also been told that in this wise systemhe has not been created without a purpose, but he has been senthere for a test and in this test he can succeed only by hisrighteous deeds and conduct. Theyfully fulfilled the design declared in the aayat: “I have notcreated jinn and man except that they worship Me.” Written byMuhammad Zakariya Kandhlawi
