Bible New Living Translation 1.1
Bible New Living Translation (NLT)The goal of any Bible translation is to convey the meaning ofthe ancient Hebrew and Greek texts as accurately as possible to themodern reader. The New Living Translation is based on the mostrecent scholarship in the theory of translation. The challenge forthe translators was to create a text that would make the sameimpact in the life of modern readers that the original text had forthe original readers. In the New Living Translation, this isaccomplished by translating entire thoughts (rather than justwords) into natural, everyday English. The end result is atranslation that is easy to read and understand and that accuratelycommunicates the meaning of the original text.
