Open Data Kit Apps
ODK Collect is a replacement for paper forms with support forgeo-locations, images, audio clips, video clips and barcodes, aswell as numerical and textual answers. ODK Collect can evaluatecomplex logic to control the display prompts and to imposeconstraints on their responses; it also supports groups ofrepetitive questions and data collection in multiple languages. ODKCollect is designed to work out of touch with a cellular network /Wi-Fi during the data collection effort. Once back in the networkcoverage, the completed forms can be copied out of the device orsent to a server (you control) for analysis. ODK Aggregate is afree server. ODK Collect can use ODK Aggregate to download the formdefinitions and receive completed forms. ODK Aggregate can generateCSV files or publish data in Google Spreadsheets and elsewhere. There is a robust user community and many companies that canprovide assistance to organizations deploying surveys based on ODK.Go to https://opendatakit.org for more information.
ODK Sensors Framework 2.1.4 rev 234 ALPHA
The ODK Sensors Framework simplifies the interface between avariety of external sensors and consumer Android devices byproviding a single sensing interface for both built-in and externalsensors. It simplifies the development of sensor-based mobileapplications by creating a common abstraction point that enablesall sensors to be accessed through a unified common interfaceregardless of the communication medium used. The framework providesa simple, high-performing, and flexible abstraction on which todevelop and deploy user-level device drivers on Android. The ODKSensors Framework supports sensors over the USB and Bluetoothcommunication channels as well as Android's built-in sensors.
