Lunch Bag Ideas 1.0
How to make a super easy, cute, and uniquelunch bag? Now I want to tell you about it. Here we go.For example, I want to make a brown-fabric lunch bag, please watchthe steps below:Step 1: Cut your fabric to make a brown bagTo make your brown bag, you'll need sturdy brown canvas (ask yourfabric store for duck canvas), matching brown thread and your basicsewing tools (scissors, pins, ruler, chalk, sewing machine). To cut your fabric, fold it in half and trace a 16 inch x 14.5 inchsquare using chalk. Cut along your chalk marks so that you cutthrough both halves of fabric. Pin just the long sides together. Myfabric looked the same on both sides but if your sides aredifferent, make sure the the good sides are facing inwards when youpin them together.Step 2: Sew the two pieces togetherSew along the sides that you pinned together, removing pins as yougo. Make sure to leave an inseam of at least 1/4 inch. Iron theinseams down as shown in the picture. After a test run, I startedto do an overcast stitch on all of the "raw" edges to preventfraying. I'd highly recommend you do the same if your machineallows, especially on the bottom edge.Step 3: Fold and sew the bottomTurn your fabric inside out so that the good sides are facing out.Fold and iron each of the long sides 2 inches from the seam like apaper bag would look.Pin and sew along this top edge. Almost done!Well, it is super easy work with lunch bag. For more review, youcan see inside this App!!

Even the smallest pond can be fascinating foradults and children alike; and the environmental and biologicalbenefits can be interesting and educational. Before you decide tocreate a pond in your garden, you need to do a little research andplanning. A pond is not something that is easy to move if, in ayear or two, you do not like its location.Following are some of thethings you need to think about fish pond, and the materials thatyou will need to plan and build a beautiful small pond.Where to Putthe PondPonds need partial sun and partial shade. A good rule ofthumb is to create shade for half the pond. Too much sun encouragesthe growth of unsightly algae.Do not dig a pond directly under atree where you may damage the roots. Most people advise againstplanting trees or shrubs near ponds because falling leaves can foulthe water. But some shade allows for cleaner water. If you plant asmall tree or shrub nearby for shade, make sure that its roots willnot disturb the liner. In fall, cover the pond with some screeningto catch falling leaves. Then, in spring, empty the pond to cleanand clear debris. Many residential areas require a permit to build apond. Your local government may require that the yard be fenced.Check out local building codes and rules before you even begin toplan the pond. You don't want to be fined and you don't want thetoddler next door to fall in.In areas with cold winters, the pondshould be dug to a depth of over 3 feet to overwinter fish andplants.Tips to Keep a Pond CleanTo avoid algae build up, add plantsfor oxygenation. A few floating plants, like water lilies will alsoshade the water.Add a block of barley straw to the pond. It is aninexpensive, natural way to fight algae. As the barely strawdecays, it produces a chemical that inhibits the growth of algae. Most pond equipment dealers stock it - just make sure that youobtain the right amount or bale size for your pond. The dealer cantell you what you will need.Do not over crowd fish. The generalrule is 1 linear foot of fish per 25 square feet of pond surface. The tail does not count. Too many fish will foul the water.Preventleaves from falling into the water. The decay of leaves producesharmful ammonia. You can just pick or skim them out.Use a fewbuckets of pond water to water your garden or container plants. Theplants will love it. Then add a few buckets of fresh water to thepond.Clean the pond out in the spring. Syphon out the water. Use anet to capture the fish or tadpoles and store them in a large tubfilled with the water you have taken out of your pond.Clear thebottom of the pond of any plant debris and other gunk. Squirt andscrub down the liner. Do not use soap, detergent, or bleach as thechemicals will kill the fish upon their return.Refill the pond andwait a day or two to replace the fish. Tap water contains chemicalsthat dissipate with time.
Futuristic Architect Designs 1.0
Futurist architecture is an early-20th century form of architectureborn in Italy, characterized by strong chromaticism, long dynamiclines, suggesting speed, motion, urgency and lyricism: it was apart of Futurism, an artistic movement founded by the poet FilippoTommaso Marinetti, who produced its first manifesto, the Manifestoof Futurism in 1909. The movement attracted not only poets, musicians, and artists (such as Umberto Boccioni, Giacomo Balla,Fortunato Depero, and Enrico Prampolini) but also a number ofarchitects. A cult of the machine age and even a glorification ofwar and violence were among the themes of the Futurists (severalprominent futurists were killed after volunteering to fight inWorld War I). The latter group included the architect AntonioSant'Elia, who, though building little, translated the futuristvision into an urban form. The Art Deco style of architecture withits streamlined forms was regarded as futuristic when it was instyle in the 1920s and 1930s. The original name for both early andlate Art Deco was Art Moderne—the name "Art Deco" did not come intouse until 1968 when the term was invented in a book by BevisHillier. The Chrysler Building is a notable example of Art Decofuturist architecture.New trends emerge in architecture. Old stylesare left behind and architects now go for the ultra-modern look, the futuristic style of buildings. They shouldn’t be blamed forthis, don’t get me wrong, I actually admire this attitude. It’sbold and it must be appreciates because they’re looking ahead inthe future and setting some landmarks for the young architects thatwill come. For us, the humble mortals, they’re offering a greatspectacle of shapes and colors, leaving us the opportunity tosimply gaze at their brilliant work. You know how in the 90’s, manygreat architects were gathered in Netherlands to rejuvenate thecity with modern buildings? Well, it’s time for Dubai and Beijingto collect all the architects with vision. They have an intelligentstrategy of investing in modern buildings in order to attracttourists and also prepare themselves for the future. Fortunate forthem, they have a lot of space to build new architectural wonders, unlike European cities were there isn’t place to build even a smallboutique. You may have seen some of these buildings, they’re alreadyclassics among the fans of conceptual architecture, but I bet thatthere are some of them that you will see for the first time. Thereare few of them which still are in the project faze, some of themare in the building process and most of them, of course, arealready built.

Staircase Design Inspirations 1.0
Something out of the ordinaryI received a very interesting emailtoday about strange and unusual staircases. I thought to myself asI opened it, how unusual could they be? Some of them were downrightcool, and others I think I would kill myself on trying to climb ordescend, and they certainly wouldn't be a good idea if you like totake a nip or two or three. Most of stair design would fall underthe category of 'not for people who entertain a lot', but I guessif you could afford the expense of building one of thesemasterpieces, I suppose you could afford the liability insurance ifone of your guests missed a step or two.Almost everyone has seenwood staircase designs, and spiral stairways, but honestly, thesebabies take the cake! There are metal staircases and loftstaircases and space saver staircases...and some of them actuallyfit into more than one category, but I will let the pictures speakfor themselves. Not for the faint of heartWhile none of the modernstaircase design that are pictured here are for the faint of heart, some are definitely worse than others! This little gem might be abit tough to navigate if you have had one-too-many nightcaps. Itwould be hard enough to climb sober, and worse if you had atendency of seeing double. The trip up wouldn't be so bad, butsomehow, I can't see me, lost in thought and climbing down thesepuppies on auto-pilot, never mind for a middle of the night pottytrip!Even though there appears to be a set of pretty skookumhandrails, I can already feel the skin being scraped off theinsides of my calves each time I get too close to the edge.SpacesaversNow these space saver stairs are a tad more climber friendly. There is a decent handrail to hang onto and they are a normalwidth, unlike the set above. The only downside I can see to thesewould be if my son were to look for something and get distractedbefore closing the drawer....I can easily picture an interiorstaircase design ideas few stubbed toes and ankle bites, not tomention drawer repairs from stepping through the bottom of it,ripping it off its rails, or kicking the face plate off in thedark, (depending on which way you were going at the time!) This setwould be perfect for the person who has an elephant's memory.Definitely not for people like me!Loft staircaseI had to look atthese a couple of times before I could make sense out of theirstructure. (Maybe it's just me...) Once I figured them out, withthe help of the second picture showing the 'up' view, I thoughtthey rather looked like boxes stacked haphazardly on top of oneanother. Not exactly my ideal thought when climbing them. The 'down'picture had me puzzled for a while. For the life of me, I couldn'tsee how I would be able to climb them, as my feet would just keepslipping down the slopes. (In my defense, I did write this fairlylate at night.) In most families, the home office plays a wide variety of roles. Ifyou work from home, it is your 9-to-5 place of business; forothers, it's a place to pay the bills, go through mail or storeimportant documents. For kids, it's a homework spot, or maybe theplace to play hours and hours of computer games. It can be alibrary, a sitting room or just a quiet place for taking good naps.If space is limited, it can be paired with a guest room or addedinto the nook of any bedroom, living room or kitchen. There aremany options, so determine what's best for your family. If you'replanning on renovating and redecorating your office, storage isyour No. 1 priority. With so many papers, books and supplies tostore, be sure to accommodate it all with shelves, drawers, andcabinets galore. Once you have that under control, find a deskthat's stocked with everything you need: plenty of surface space, deep drawers and a high-quality material. Finally, take the time topersonalize your room with plenty of photographs and interestingknickknacks. Office organization is key, especially with all thebills, mail and statements you receive and keep throughout theyear. The best way to store your papers is by investing in a nicefiling cabinet. A rolling file cabinet can help with convenience,or splurge on a more permanent, lockable one if you have a lot ofsensitive documents. Be sure to label and color code so thateverything is easy to find. With shelves and cabinets, built-insare your best options. Built-in shelves are an elegant way to storeyour vast book collection, while drawers with tray organizers keeptrack of staples like pens, pencils, highlighters, tape andcalculators. When picking out your desk (or desks, for a largefamily space), be sure to consider its overall function. If youwork from home , pick an over sized, sturdy desk that can containall your work documents in one space. It should look professional(think a dark wood professor's desk) and be double sided so you canhold meetings. To prevent any work/home mix-ups, have a separatedesk for the rest of the family to use, and ensure your work spaceis off limits. If your kids use the room as a homework spot, try atwo-person desk or even an extended built-in counter where severalcan sit at one time. If you primarily use the space for odds andends, a smaller, fashionable secretary desk might do the trick, aslong as you have additional storage options. Fireplace Design Ideas 1.0
Fireplaces bring joy to any home. They provide a comfortable placeto gather as a family, they provide heat and light, and they make aroom look beautiful. That is why it is very important to have theright fireplace design for your home. Fireplace designs are a keytool to ensuring your fireplace is a positive element rather thanan eye sore or underutilized component of your home. Fireplacedesign ideas vary widely, but no matter what your tastes, there isa fireplace design for you. When picking out your fireplace designideas, there are many things to consider that will limit yourchoices. You need to make decisions about both the heatingfunctionality of your fireplace and the overall aesthetic of thefireplace in the room.If you are interested in designing afireplace yourself then make sure you do the proper research. Thereare fire regulations and building codes that have to be consideredwhen designing anything for the home, but especially for afireplace. The hazards of an inferior fireplace design can begreat. IT might be a better idea to look for fireplace designs thatwere completed by a professional. You can purchase designs fromfireplace manufacturers or you can find designs for free if you digaround on the internet long enough. My advice would be to hire aprofessional to help you in the design process or show you afireplace design catalog.Electric FireplacesFirst, you need todecide what kind of fireplace you will have- a wood burningfireplace, a gas fireplace, or an electrical fireplace. Thisdecision will direct you toward the right kind of fireplacedesigns.Wood Burning FireplacesIf you are planning to have a woodburning fireplace then materials of construction are of particularimportance. Brick fireplace designs are probably the most commonchoice for many reasons. First, brick does not show smoke stainsand second, it does not burn easily. If a fire were to get out ofhand, the brick could keep it from spreading too quickly and allowthe home owner to stop it. In addition, brick will go with almostany decor so it is a good neutral choice. Another common materialfor fireplace design is stone. There are many varieties of stonefireplace such as limestone, marble, slate, or ceramictile.Aesthetic Fireplace Design DetailsThere are several smalldetails to consider when designing your own fireplace or pickingout a professionally designed fireplace. Details like roundedcorner fireplace designs versus straight ones can make a bigdifference in how well a fireplace design fits into your decoratingscheme or the architecture of the room. Contemporary fireplacedesigns often use straight lines and simple patterns whiletraditional fireplace designs might use curved edges and ornatecarvings. Another small aesthetic point is what kind of fireplacetools to set next to the fireplace. Buying discount fireplaceaccessories at Lowes or Home Depot might spoil the whole look somake sure you purchase fireplace accessories that match thefireplace design and the room decor.Outdoor Fireplace DesignsUpuntil now, I have been discussing fireplace designs for inside yourhome. Of course, people use and build fireplaces outdoors as well. The outdoors offers an opportunity to be much more creative andinventive in fireplace design. You are not limited by the walls ofa room and ventilation is not an issue. You do need to be carefulabout your placement because you do not want to be too close to anyflammable hazards like tree branches or electrical wires, but youroptions are much more diverse outdoors.
Bunk Bed Design Ideas 1.0
Making sure that your children have a safe place to sleep is ofcritical importance. Beyond the pricing and appearance factorsthere are important safety concerns that you should be aware ofwhen buying bunk beds for your children. Children’s Bunk Beds startfrom as little as $200 and can go up to the low thousands forcustom models and while you can compromise a little on price youcan’t cut corners with safety for the interior design ideas. Thenumber of bunk bed ideas related injuries continues to grow becauseparents are not making informed decisions about what they arebuying and taking the appropriate precautions with their bed designideas. The number of reported injuries is currently close to 40,000in the United States alone; fortunately most of the injuries thatchildren sustain from bunk beds are minor. Things like cuts andscrapes can be easily avoided though there are more seriousconcerns that have to do with workmanship, Installation and alsothe inappropriate use of the beds. The more serious injuries involvefrom falling from the kids bunk bed and being caught between thebed or guard rail with extreme cases leading to death. It isimportant that you carefully consider the construction of the bedand its safety accreditations along with taking the appropriatecare in assembling the bed once it gets to your home. When you arein the market for a children’s bunk bed you bear in mind thefollowing safety indicators.Buy The Right MattressThis isparticularly important for the top bunk for modern bunk beds.Getting a mattress that is too large or small for the bed will meanthat it does not sit on the frame properly and as such willincrease the likelihood that your children will get injured eitherby way of a fall or being caught between the bed frame or guardrail.Get the Right Guard RailThe size of the guard rail must betall enough to extend a minimum of 5 inches above the mattress butshould not be too high that a wedge block can pass freelyunderneath. The wedge block simulates the size of a child’s bodyand is what the safety certification board uses to test beds. Theguard rail for the bed needn't extend for the entire length of thebed but it should cover approximately two thirds of the bed.Use ANightlightAdding a night light particularly for the top bunk willadd a measure of safety to the child sleeping above. The nightlight helps with getting in and out of the bed safely and ensuringthat they do not lose their footing especially for boys bunkbeds.Space SavingThe biggest thing that you will gain from a bunkbed is the extra space. A typical bedroom has lots of space that iteither cannot use effectively or has been overlooked. Having yourbeds directly on top of each other will free up lots of floor spacewhich means that you can use more of the room and even fit anadditional bed for large families.Built in StorageChildren’s bunkbeds often feature built in storage compartments meaning that thereis less of a need to buy additional storage for your child’sthings. A great example is the addition of shelving on the ends ofthe bunk bed or cupboards that are built into the stairs or ladderfor the top bunk.Desk and Work SpaceYou may also want to considerother styles of bunk bed for your children such as those whichintegrate desk or workspace with the bed above it. Loft style bunkbeds such as these are popular with dormitories and collegesbecause they provide a clear and defined individual space in sharedrooms.

Skylights between thebeams of a vaulted ceiling will help create the feeling of sleepingoutdoors, and they can give you a great view of the stars at nightand sunshine in the morning. You don't have to raise the roof to addinterest, however. A tray ceiling gives a room a traditional andelegant touch, and bead board overhead softens a room's look andworks well with a country decor.Architectural elements workparticularly well with ceilings in large rooms, adding interest andeliminating the often monotonous look of the flat, white surfaceoverhead. Coffers or boxed beams add dimension and work well inrooms with high ceilings. If you are remodeling an older home, boxed beams can hide new electrical wiring, conduits or heating andair duct work. The spaces between the beams provide yet anotheropportunity to add interest to your bedroom, perhaps with coloredglass pieces arranged in a unique design. Or you can installcoffers in geometric shapes other than rectangles. Paint thecoffers or leave the wood bare depending on your personalpreference and the decor of your room.Lighting is another importantpart of ceiling design. If you install a tray ceiling, lighting canbe a hidden element. You can also place lighting behind a gossamercanopy for a dreamy effect.Features: Contemporary, Eclectic,Modern, Traditional, Asian, Beach Style, Craftsman, Farmhouse,Industrial, Mediterranean, Mid century, Rustic, Scandinavian,Southwestern, Transitional, Tropical, Victorian.

I think that no matter how you personally feel about dogs, we canall agree that dog costumes are hilarious. Yes, it's true that weare laughing at them, and not with them, but as long as they'rewilling to play along with it I don't think there's necessarilyanything wrong with that. It's actually pretty easy to make acostume for a dog, just as long as you keep a few basic concepts inmind.A simple, standard pattern for a dog costume has only threebasic pieces. Hats are not necessary, nor is covering up any areasthat you probably shouldn't be covering up, if you catch my drift. An additional huge bonus to this pattern is that you don't have toforce your dog's arms or head into sleeves or neckholes; it allattaches together around him while he just stands there. Use sometracing paper or scrap fabric to make your pattern pieces. Thefirst piece is a "coat" that covers the back and torso; second, a"cumberbund" that attaches the sides of the coat around the belly, and the "neckpiece or shirtfront" that attaches the sides of thecoat around the front (and also down to the cumberbund if desiredfor your design). Use a tape measure to determine the properdimensions of these pieces for your dog. You will permanentlyattach one side of both the cumberbund and the shirtfront to a sideof the coat. Pick a closure device to attach the other sides - I'vealways used velcro, but buttons or snaps are fine if that's whatyou have. If you have a full shirt front you'll want to add anotherclosure connecting the bottom to the center front of thecumberbund. You can even dress him as a legendary dog - just addheads. All of these costumes have the same basic structure.Design, embellish and bedazzle your basic pattern pieces in whatever wayworks best for you. Obviously it helps if you can sew, but it's notentirely necessary. It's not like the dog is going to need to wearthis outfit for extended periods of time and for years to come. Youcan get the same results, more or less, using glue, staples or evenduct tape. Just make sure whatever materials you use are not tooheavy and do not chafe the dog or make him uncomfortable. And also, halloween is just around the corner, and that can only mean onething: Pet owners everywhere will soon be scrambling to find theperfect outfit for their dog. Can't figure out what Halloweencostume to adorn your animal with this year? Don't you worry. We'rehere to help.In this app, we've collected 100 of our favorite puppycostumes. from puppy dressed like a super hero, like a vegetable,or else. So, just check it out!

Such costumed dances were a special luxury of theducal court of Burgundy.Masquerade balls were extended intocostumed public festivities in Italy during the 16th centuryRenaissance (Italian, maschera). They were generally elaboratedances held for members of the upper classes, and were particularlypopular in Venice. They have been associated with the tradition ofthe Venetian Carnival. With the fall of the Venetian Republic atthe end of the 18th century, the use and tradition of masksgradually began to decline, until they disappearedaltogether.Masquerade ball at Château de Hattonchâtel, France.Theybecame popular throughout mainland Europe in the 17th and 18thcenturies, sometimes with fatal results. Gustav III of Sweden wasassassinated at a masquerade ball by disgruntled nobleman JacobJohan Anckarström, an event which Eugène Scribe and Daniel Auberturned into the opera Gustave III. The same event was the basis ofGiuseppe Verdi's opera A Masked Ball, although the censors in theoriginal production forced him to portray it as a fictional storyset in Boston. Most masks came from countries like Switzerland andItaly.John James Heidegger, a Swiss count who arrived in Italy in1708, is credited with having introduced the Venetian fashion of asemi-public masquerade ball, to which one might subscribe, toLondon in the early eighteenth century, with the first being heldat Haymarket Opera House. London's public gardens, like VauxhallGardens, refurbished in 1732, and Ranelagh Gardens, providedoptimal outdoor settings, where characters masked and in fancydress mingled with the crowds. The reputation for unseemlybehavior, unescorted women and assignations motivated a change ofname, to the Venetian ridotto but as "The Man of Taste" observed in1733;A standard item of masquerade dress was a "Vandyke",improvised on the costumes worn in the portraits of Van Dyck:Gainsborough's Blue Boy is the most familiar example, and areminder of the later 18th-century popularity in England forportraits in fancy dress.Masquerade balls were sometimes set as agame among the guests. The masked guests were supposedly dressed soas to be unidentifiable. This would create a type of game to see ifa guest could determine each other's identities. This added ahumorous effect to many masques and enabled a more enjoyableversion of typical balls. One of the most noted masquerade balls ofthe 20th century was that held at Palazzo Labia in Venice on 3September 1951, hosted by Carlos de Beistegui. It was dubbed "theparty of the century".

We didn't even start out thinking aboutbuilding a cheap fire pit ideas, although I had been lusting afterone for awhile. It's just all the instructions I had seen beforemade it sound so difficult, plus the cost of one I saw I liked onthe Internet was $715 to build.Enter The Fire Pit!That fire pitidea was still lingering in the back of my mind. I kept thinking,How hard could it be? Would it cost me more than $80 which is whata low end chiminea or metal fire pit would cost? A real in groundfire pit and brick fire pit ideas would last longer. So, with ourcourage in hand, my son and I went to mart first to look atstacking stones. The stones we found there, although the rightshape were really small and would've taken us way too many to getthe job done, even though they were only .99 each which wastempting. We found the exact size we were looking for in threedifferent colors. The color we chose was Autumn Blend Countryside. We paid $1.79 per block for them, which was more than I wanted topay, but for a small fire pit, it really doesn't take that many. Webought 17 to start with just to see how they would look and headedback home to play.Digging The Hole For the Fire PitHauling thestacking stones into our backyard was no mean feat! We had nowheelbarrow and had to carry them all by hand, in fire pitlandscaping ideas, let me tell you, those things are heavy! Nexttime we do anything with stone, we'll borrow a wheelbarrow! My sonand I placed the stones in a circle on the ground and he marked thearea inside the stones where he would need to dig with a shovel.TheFire Pit ConstructionWe bought three bags of pebbles, (we ended uponly using two) and a bag of sand, and the remaining stackingstones to make a simple fire pit ideas. We once again moved thefirst row of stones away from the perimeter of the hole and pouredsand around the edge, then leveled it out with the back of therake, so I stones would lay nice and straight. The FinishedProduct! We put about four inches of pea gravel in the bottom of thepit and because we were concerned about the fire safety of thestacking stones, we put some some fire-safe bricks around theinside. (We removed these later, but we were chicken the first timewe built a fire, so decided to err on the side of caution!) And tada! We were finished! All told, it probably took about three and ahalf hours, some heavy lifting, and a little digging.
