Vicinity App is a client side, mobileapplication built on the Android platform to provide personallocation-based
services such as bookmarking, mapping and nearby search.
The Bookmarking feature allows the user to virtually save places ofinterest while on the move and thereby
obtain driving directions.
The Mapping enables the user to visualize his relative geographiclocation in real time and also the bookmark.
The nearby search exploits extensively the Google powerful localsearch API to allow finding and bookmarking
nearby places such as Restaurants, Airports, Banks, etc, and alsoretrieving map-based directions.
