突然発生した謎のウイルスにより、大人たちが死に絶え、人間社会が崩壊。
残された子共たちは吸血鬼たちが住む地下都市に囚われ、血液を提供する代わりに生かされるという家畜同然の生活を送っていた。
その中の一人、百夜優一郎は「家族」である百夜ミカエラたちと共に地下からの脱出を図るが、ミカエラたちは脱出計画に気付いた吸血鬼たちの手にかかって死亡し、優一郎は唯一地上へ帰還する。
鏡貴也初の漫画原作の連載作品。
世紀末を子供たちの力強く生き抜く姿がリアルに描かれている。
テレビアニメ化も決定し、2015年4月より放送中。
