PTSD Family Coach is for family members of those living withposttraumatic stress disorder (PTSD). The app provides extensiveinformation about PTSD, how to take care of yourself, how to takecare of your relationship with your loved one or with children, andhow to help your loved one get the treatment they deserve. The appalso provides a great deal of information that is specific toVeterans and active duty members of the military. Living with afamily member who has PTSD can be incredibly stressful, and PTSDFamily Coach includes 24 unique tools to help you manage thisstress, including mindfulness exercises, tools to help you re-buildyour social networks, and tools to help with difficult thoughts andemotions you may be experiencing. Stay Quit Coach was the result of acollaborative effort among the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA)National Center for PTSD (NCPTSD), the VA Sierra Pacific (VISN 21)Mental Illness Research, Education, and Clinical Center (MIRECC),VA Clinical Public Health Group (CPH) and the Department of DefenseNational Center for Telehealth & Technology (T2).
