Voodoo DuelRatamahatta is a fast-paced, two-player realtime mobilegame.Game world is inspired by the awesome, black magic Sepulturatrack and official video - macumba/voodoo claymation directed andrealized by Fred Stuhr.Gameplay combines a few well known tricksinto a completely new experience.Basic combat controls areultra-intuitive and touch-optimized. Once you get it, it is assimple as Pong, Arkanoid or Space Invaders.Please remember thatthis is a multiplayer game in Alpha stage.You need a friend to trythe duel together (or you can just challenge a random person).I canafford a vary basic online infrastructure, so latency may behigh.GameplayGameplay presents the duel of two black magic shamans.Opponents are represented on a stage by their “ritual masks”. Eachshaman try to defeat his enemy by throwing cursed stones in theopponent direction. Shaman can protect himself by building thedefense shrines around his position made of runic rocks. Rocks canabsorb certain amounts of projectiles energy or even stop theprojectiles at all. Rocks are active only for some certain amountof time and their loose their defensive capabilities while onstage.After loosing the whole runic energy rock disappears. Shaman canalso move his mask in order to avoid hitting by enemyprojectiles.Throwing projectiles and placing rocks consumes theshaman's magical power – mana. Shaman can use three different kinds(colors) of mana and get different results of his actions:- Bluemana produces medium speed projectiles carrying a medium amount ofenergy.- Red mana produces high speed, wall-bouncing projectilescarrying small amount of energy.- Green mana produces slow but verypowerful projectiles.Similar rules applies to rocks – differentmana colors allows shaman to place different type of defensivestructures. Shaman's mana resources are limited and theirregeneration process is pretty slow. One should watch out to notmisuse too much of his magical powers at once and find himself inan uncomfortable situation of having no power to defend hisposition.In order to win the game shaman has to defeat his enemy inat least two rounds. Every round lasts 90 seconds. Power-upsOnce inevery duel user can use a special ability - order his shaman toperform a ritual. Ritual is a kind of complex power up that affectsthe whole duel gameplay and can decide about loosing or winning thegame:- gives a player a temporary one mana regeneration boost(implemented)- switches all user mana resources to one selectedcolor (not implemented)- provide a health regeneration for a shorttime period (not implemented)
