[root] FlashFire 0.73 APK
Chainfire
FlashFire is the most advanced on-device firmware flasher availablefor rooted Android devices. It can flash full firmware packagesfrom various manufacturers, as well as apply over-the-air (OTA) andZIP updates - all while maintaining root, and without using acustom recovery. It also offers full device backup and restorefunctionalities in several formats. Relevant files can be stored oninternal storage, SD cards, USB connected storage, or can even bestreamed directly to and from your computer using USB orWi-Fi.FlashFire is the spiritual successor to the Mobile ODIN app, which was a similar solution (using completely different methodsunder the hood) exclusively for Samsung devices on older Androidversions.FlashFire is an extremely powerful application, it shouldbe used with caution. Data loss, soft-bricks, and even hard-bricksare possible if used incorrectly. Unless you are an expert user, consult FlashFire's website and the XDA discussion thread beforedoing anything potentially destructive.Note: currently allfunctionality is unlocked without purchasing Pro. This may changein the future!Website: http://flashfire.chainfire.eu/Changelogs:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=59962696&postcount=8XDAdiscussion thread:http://forum.xda-developers.com/general/paid-software/flashfire-t3075433

It may need todownload an additional package, so it is advised to have Wi-Fiavailable.Now you should see the main Mobile ODIN screen, listing aset of partitions. Clicking a partition will allow you to select afile from your SD card to flash to that partition. Do not worryabout selecting the wrong file - Mobile ODIN will not let you.Separate files (named after the partition) as well as .tar and.tar.md5 files are supported. From the desktop ODIN you may be usedto "PDA", "PHONE", and "CSC" buttons. All three of these buttonshave been replaced by the "Open file ..." button. This button willopen the file you select from the SD card, and find all thepartitions it can flash inside that file. If you select a .tar filecontaining kernel and modem, the Kernel and Modem partitions willbe set up to use that .tar file for flashing. Now that we haveselected what we want to flash, if you have the Pro version you canproceed to the EverRoot section. The EverRoot options allows you toroot your firmware while it is being flashed. Never again will yoube without root! Now that we are all done selecting partitions andconfiguring EverRoot, we continue to "Flash firmware". Mobile ODINwill gather all the information it needs and perform the flash. Before starting, however, it will check that your battery level isover 50%, and if applicable offer to verify MD5 checksums on thefiles you have selected to flash. If all is well, it will rebootinto recovery mode, and flash the firmware you have selected.
[root] Pry-Fi 1.20 APK
Chainfire
You are being watched...Retailers, crooks, the government, andothers shady individuals are tracking your movements. Even whenyour Wi-Fi is turned off, your phone may be broadcastinginformation to whomever is in range which can be used both to trackrepeated visits to as well as your exact movements in an area undersurveillance. It's not a big step to couple this to personalinformation - a retailer for example, could track your trip to theregister and correlate with your payment information. Now thetracking hardware and software vendors, the store (or chain) owner, their business partners, they can now all track where you are everytime you come into range of one of their systems, and fully profilewho you are, what you do, your financials, and your daily patterns! That is just one example, but there are many uses for tracking you.Make no mistake, this is happening in the real worldtoday.Pry-FiOne solution is shutting off Wi-Fi completely(including the background network scanning, a setting most peopledon't know about), but you would lose benefits like automaticallyconnecting to known Wi-Fi networks and improved location awarenessfor your apps. It also does nothing to help the situation forothers.Pry-Fi will prevent your device from announcing all thenetworks it knows to the outside world, but it will still allowbackground scanning and automatically connecting to Wi-Fi networks. While you are not connected to a Wi-Fi network, the MAC addresswill constantly be pseudo-randomized, following a pattern thatstill makes the trackers think you are a real person, but they willnot encounter your MAC address again. This will slowly poison theirtracking database with useless information. When you do connect to aWi-Fi network, unless you specify otherwise, your MAC address willalso be randomized - the same MAC address will not be used the nexttime you connect to this or any other network.War!Though of coursethe companies involved with these trackers claim they wouldn't usethe data maliciously, the possibility is there, and we all knowthat if something can be abused, ultimately it will be. There donot appear to be any laws against these practices yet, nor is itlikely Wi-Fi will be redesigned any time soon to get rid of theinformation leaks. But we can make an effort to reduce theusefulness of the tracking data for the exploiters. Pry-Fi comeswith a War mode, which when enabled tries to make your Androiddevice appear like dozens of people. Just wandering around an areaunder Wi-Fi location surveillance for a few minutes can ruin thetracking data for the period of your stay.Proof of ConceptThis isproof-of-concept code, and how for it will go in the future dependson interest and how well it works. It has been tested on severaldevices and seems to work, but it is very young still. The magicthe app does to achieve its purpose is ever subject to changingAndroid security policies and OEM customizations, so even though itworks now, there really is no saying if it will still be possiblein future firmwares.Of course you should also keep in mind thattracking can be done in many ways, and these W-Fi signals are farfrom the only method in use.More...Further details, devicecompatibility information, FAQ, discussion, etc is all available onXDA-Developers.comhere:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2631512
[root] StickMount 3.50 APK
Chainfire
Automatically mount and dismount USB sticks on various devices likethe Galaxy Nexus, Nexus 7 and Nexus 10. The Nexus 4 is notsupported - this is an issue with the device, not with StickMount!!!! REQUIRES ROOT !!!Various Nexus and "stock Android" devices donot automatically "mount" mass storage devices (such as USBsticks). StickMount has been made to solve this problem, and giveyou access to the files on your USB connected storage from all yourapps.StickMount is known to work on many devices, but is built*only* with *Nexus* devices in mind.Once StickMount is installedand you connect a USB stick with a "USB host / OTG cable", thedevice will show you a popup if you want to open StickMount. It isadvised to tell the device that you want to do this by default. Ifyou have just installed StickMount and you already had a USB stickconnected, you must manually launch the program, ordisconnect/reconnect the USB stick for StickMount to startworking.Mass storage devices are mounted to"/sdcard/usbStorage/xxxx/".----- (Pro) Kill apps preventing unmount-----Sometimes an app has a file in use located on the USB device, and won't let go of it. This can prevent StickMount from unmountingthe USB device. It will seem like the device stays connected (thisis harmless). StickMount Pro provides an option that attempts tokill (terminate) all the apps that are preventing the unmount fromsucceeding.----- (Pro) Media scan -----StickMount Pro supportstriggering the media scanner on each (un)mount action. This willautomatically make the files on your USB device available in appslike Gallery and Music. Please note that the media scanner is not avisible process on all Android devices - it might actually worksilently in the background without any visual cues. It may take aminute for your files to show up, so don't panic if they don't showimmediately.Even if you have this option enabled, you can preventfolders from being scanned by placing an empty file called".nomedia" in that folder. If you put it in the root of the USBdevice, the entire device will not be scanned.----- (Pro) Mount aspartition label -----Instead of using the block device name for thepartition, use the partition label as mount name, falling back touuid or block device name if the label is unavailable.----- (Pro)Create symbolic links -----Create symbolic links in /mnt and/storage to the actual mounts in /sdcard/usbStorage/-----Filesystem support -----The filesystems supported depends on yourdevice firmware. On most devices, at least vfat/fat/fat32 andext2/3/4 are supported. On the latest Android versions, ntfs isalso supported in read-only mode. Some devices also support exfatout the box, but most do not.StickMount can utilize the "ntfs-3g"and "mount.exfat-fuse" binaries to add support for ntfs (untested)and exfat, but these are not included. If you place the "ntfs-3g"or "mount.exfat-fuse" files in the root of your internal storage (/sdcard ), StickMount will automatically use them. You can find theneeded files here:ntfs-3g:http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=1145436&stc=1&d=1340293802mount.exfat-fuse:http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=806200&d=1323109372-----Troubleshooting -----For some users, the app appears not to work, while in fact it is the device itself or the cable not working. OneOTG cable is not the other OTG cable. If you have a USB stick witha light on it, it should light up when you connect it to the GalaxyNexus using your OTG cable. If it does not, either your cable oryour Nexus is faulty. 99 out of 100 times it is going to be yourcable. That the cable works fine with another device does not meananything! Cables known to work on a one devices may not work onanother device.SD card unmounting: If your SD card unmounts whenunmounting a USB device, you have a bug in your kernel. This is*not* a bug in StickMount !
Sideload Launcher - Android TV 1.05 APK
Chainfire
This is only for the new Android TV devices, like the ADT-1 and theNexus Player, it is completely useless on other devicesAndroid TVrequires existing apps to be updated and declare themselvescompatible before they're installable from the Play store. Whilecertainly not as streamlined or seamless as the average user wouldwish for their TV, many apps can still function on some level onthese devices if you sideload them, but they don't show up in theLeanback Launcher (the Android TV homescreen). So for that there isthis app, the Sideload Launcher. A simple app that shows you thenormal app launcher icons that a phone or tablet would show you,but which are hidden on Android TV, allowing you to launch anysideloaded app!
[root] adbd Insecure 2.00 APK
Chainfire
adbd Insecure lets you run adbd in root mode if your device isrooted.(Note that if you are running a custom kernel, it is likelythat it already implements this functionality)If you are running astock (made by the phone manufacturer) kernel on your device, chances are adbd is running in "secure" mode, even if you arerooted. This app lets you run adbd in "insecure" mode, which givesyou root access in "adb shell", allows access to system files anddirectories through "adb push/pull", and lets you run the "adbremount" command to make your /system partition writable.Of course, your device must already be rooted for this to work. It may notwork with "S-ON" devices and locked bootloaders. This app does notmake any permanent changes to your device - a reboot will undo anymodification. That's why there is also the option to enable thisfeature at boot.Note that if you have USB connected when the appactivates or deactivates adbd root mode, you may need tounplug/replug the cable or run "adb kill-server" on your computerbefore adb will work again. For discussion and support, see theXDA-Developers.com threadhere:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1687590Notethat this download is also available from that thread completelyfor free. You can go there and download it for free, or buy me abeer and download it here from Google Play. It is 100% the exactsame program. (No redistribution is allowed though!)
USB Host Diagnostics 1.3 APK
Chainfire
USB Host Diagnostics determines your device's USB hostcapabilities. USB host is a very powerful feature of recent Androidbased smartphones and tablets, but on many firmwares (both stockand custom) the feature is somewhat broken. For example, at launchthe Galaxy Nexus told all the apps and the Market that it supportedUSB host, but USB host did not actually work (this was fixed in theAndroid 4.0.2 update). This broke several apps. That is just oneexample of many. There are even cases where OEMs advertise USB hostsupport, but the device does not support it at all. It appears asif USB host support isn't tested by Google or the OEMs when theypush out new firmwares and devices at all. As we cannot depend onGoogle or the OEMs to correctly provide information regarding USBhost support, and the Android framework will regularly lie about itto both the Market as well as Android apps, this application wascreated so you can test your device's USB host capabilities foryourself. If you allow it, the app will also submit your results tomy website, so together we can create a complete database ofdevices and firmwares and their USB host support. This tool may alsocome in handy for those porting firmwares.Requirements:- Android2.3.1 or newer- (Optional) Root- USB OTG cable (unless your devicehas a fullsize USB port)- USB memory stick, or another USB deviceto test the connection withThe result database is available here:http://usbhost.chainfire.eu/The discussion thread on XDA-Developerscan be foundhere:http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1493325
