The EULAR On-Line Course on Rheumatic Diseases is an electronicform of continuous medical education in rheumatology. The course ismanaged by a scientific course committee responsible forcontrolling the structure and content of the course and forensuring regular quality control and advancement.The full versionof the course covers the entire field of rheumatology and consistsof 42 illustrated modules, each one covering a specific topic. Eachmodule corresponds to approximately eight hours of study for thestudent, totalling around 336 hours of educational training. Thecourse operates through the web for the duration of up to two yearswith a possible extension of one year. It will finish with anon-line exam and upon passing, with a EULAR certificate.Knowledgeand skills are targeted to suit a level of knowledge appropriatefor the final years of training as a rheumatologist.ModulestructureEach on-line module deals with one particular topic. Amodule typically contains: A set of clear learning outcomes Awritten update/review on the topic containing free to be usedpictures / figures / tables. The EULAR Online Introductory Ultrasound Course is an electronicform of continuous medical education in rheumatology. The course ismanaged by a scientific course committee responsible forcontrolling the structure and content of the course and forensuring regular quality control and advancement. The course is runentirely through the web, designed for 7 months of training. Thecourse will cover 7 modules, starting each September and finishingin April, followed by a final online examination a month later.Upon passing the examination a EULAR certificate will be issued.
