Description

This is a simple program to display the current time of day in SIunits, in particular, kiloseconds (ks, or 1000 seconds) as well asto measure time intervals metrically through the metric timer andstopwatch.Features- Measures the time of day in kiloseconds sincemidnight, taken in 0.1 ks (also called hectosecond) increments.-Provides a metric timer for timing a set period of time in a lineardecimal count of seconds which is easily readable as larger SIunits like hectoseconds and kiloseconds.- Provides a metricstopwatch for measuring an unspecified duration in the same way butwith centisecond (0.01 s) resolution.

TAI World Clock with Calendar 1.0 APK
The International Atomic Time Standard, known and abbreviatedalsoby its French name, Temps Atomique Internationale (TAI), istheworld-wide atomic time standard, based on an average of over200atomic clocks all over the globe. The TAI standard forms thebasisof all existing timekeeping. At its core it is a straightcount ofSI metric seconds since 1958-01-01 at midnight, Greenwich,theso-called "Epoch Time". However it is not usually useddirectly, rather being instead passed to the UTC, the CoordinatedUniversalTime, which features discontinuities called leap seconds, and thengets further adulterated by time zones to local time.Thisclockprovides a straight readout of the TAI, to as close as thesystemcan give, in terms of a pure linear count of seconds. Inadditionto this, a calendar is provided that indicates when thebeginning(midnight) of each local day of the year is on this scale. It makesa good companion to our other app, the SI Metric Clock.Thisapp islicensed under GNU LGPL v2.1 and uses the Time4J/Time4Alibrary byMenoData. Directions to the source code are included inthe app.
