Description

This is MLH-supported presentation helper app.

Load pdf file with presentation. Next slide notes and configurethings like time limits for individual slides and total time limitfor presentation. At this point we can also choose what kind ofinformation we want to see on our smartphone while presentationgoes live on a second display. We might prefer to see just timers,full-screen note only or several elements at the same time.
In the end we can configure time alarms settings and activatesmartwatch gestures.

Finally we tap Start, and presentation goes live on the bigscreen or projector connected via MHL cable. Now depending onprevious configuration our phone can display either full screenslide notes, big timers or both elements along with slide miniaturetogether. We can slide left or right to turn slide.

Now you may also change presentation slides tapping on the leftor right part of your smartwatch screen.

Instead of tapping you might prefer to use gestures. Withsmartwatch on your right wrist you need to make a quick handmovement to the left side in order to switch to the next slide-it's a bit like turning a book page. Opposite movement will getyou to the previous slide. We created our own algorithm thatanalyses smartwatch position and detect if slide change gestureoccured. We require gesture to be quick so that you will not makeit accidentally while naturally gesticulating.

Moving your hand inwards feels more natural that's why if youswitch smartwatch to your left hand, app will adjust and in thissituation gesture to the right will get you to the next slide.

Keeping time is particularly important aspect of goodpresentation. Our app can be pretty helpful here. Firstly itfeatures timers with constant sync between smartphone andsmartwatch parts. To make it faster to read we added visual signals- background will turn orange if you're in the last 10 secondsallowed within current slide or presentation. Background will turnred if you your time is up.

Finally we have buzz alarms in case you prefer not to bedistracted at all looking at the watch. Single buzz will notify youthat current time limit is just 10 seconds. Two buzzes mean thatyour time is up. This is discrete way of notifying user that willnot be noticed by the audience.

Using both smartphone and smartwatch apps we can make very noveluse of MHL technology !
