This unit is a microcomputer controlled data acquisition system.Itis intended for time domain EM surveys An Android 7" tablet isuseduser interface and data logger. The TDEM-20BT application willonlyfunction with this hardware. Graphic area This is the main areaonthe screen where the decay curve is shown graphically. Gatestartand end position shown with blue ticks. Current GPScoordinates Thebottom left (green) panel is used to display thecurrent GPS data,if available. General Info This panel (gray) isused to displayprompts, warnings and general info. START After allthe parametershave been set up, use this button to start a reading.READ Use thisbutton to retrieve data from the data logger. Datawill be shown inGraphic screen. LOAD Load a file from internalstorage to display.SAVE After the data logger has completed thestacking process, usethis button to save the data to internalstorage Export Data can beexported in CSV format for use in aspreadsheet or to Amira formatto be used in modeling of the data.File Name Use the area to theright of File Name to enter new filenames. RX sample rate The receivedsignal isdigitized at a fixed rate for 800 samples. This optionsets thetime between samples RX gain Use the spinner option toselect thepreamplifier gain to be used. BT Connect Before startingto takereadings communications between the Tablet and the Datalogger mustbe set up. GPS The coordinates of the station will beincorporatedin the data file if GPS use is enabled with thisfunction. SS Whenfield data is being displayed a screen shot can bemade by pressingthis button. RXbat%= For each station the batteryvoltage of thereceiver and the transmitter will be retrieved fromthe datalogger, the Receiver battery status is displayed here as a% offull capacity. TXbat%= For each station the battery voltage ofthereceiver and the transmitter will be retrieved from thedatalogger, the Transmitter battery status is displayed here as a %offull capacity. Scale Mod When the signal is small, in late time,itcan be enlarged with this spinner option to get a better ideaofnoise levels.

This is custom software for use with a FDEM-8BT instrument, meantfor a 7 inch Android tablet with a screen resolution of 1024X600,other screen sizes are not currently supported.Graphic areaThis isthe main area on the screen where the eight frequencies are showngraphically.Each frequency is drawn to its own scale. The highestfrequency is at the top of the screen and the lowest frequency isat the bottom.
