Light Bulb Meter 1.0.4
This app was made as a tool to help youreplace light bulbs with new LED or energy saving light bulbs thatis approximately as bright as the old one.Using the phone's ambient light sensor, it can measure thebrightness of a light bulb and then present the result in a lumeninterval. This lumen interval is also mapped to a correspondingvalue in watts of four common bulb types: incadescent, halogen, fluorescent and LED.Both the lumen interval and the watt mapping table can then besaved to be used later, for example in the store to help you selectthe right replacement bulb. The app supports two different kind of light bulbs, either thenormal (omnidirectional) light bulb type, or the reflector lightbulb type.Note!Be aware that the accuracy of the light sensor vary betweendifferent devices, and if it is too low, the app will not be ableto calculate a result. Keywords: light bulb, bulb meter, lumen meter, watt, watts, brightness, LED, energy saving, spotlight, saving, environment, eco, green, converter, meter, measuring, replace light bulbs
E85 or Gas Free 1.3
Do you, like me, always stand in front ofthegas pump wondering what the best deal is? - to get E85 orregulargas? Then this is the app for you! Quick and easy you enter thecurrentgas- and E85-price. Then, with a key press, the appcalculates themost cost-effective option based on your measuredaveragemilage/consumption for the both fuel-types. It also presentsthecost per mile/km for both fuel-types and how much you save -ofcourse in your local currency worldwide. You can save money depending on yourvehicle’smileage/consumption of the different fuel-types and thepricerelation between them. First the consumption: E85 hasapproximately30% less energy, but a 30% mileage/consumptiondifference is notvalid for most cars. Also, your driving skills andthe way the caris used (for example mostly in the city) is animportant factor. So, make sure you have a good value of yourvehicle’s fuelmileage/consumption that represents how you use it.Then the price:Ethanol prices fluctuate on a different cycle thangasoline, meaning that ethanol is sometimes more than 30% cheaperbutsometimes not. E85 or Gas will let you know if the pricedifferenceis enough to offset the difference in fuelmileage/consumption.Note! This feature is only available in thefullversion!E85 or Gas also features a "FuelConsumption/EconomyManager". With the manager you can keeptrack of your vehicle’sfuel mileage/consumption under differentconditions, for exampleurban or city. Any number of stored valuescan then be used tocalculate an average that automagically will beinserted in thecalculator. An important feature is that you canchoose whichvalues that shall be included in the average. Thismakes itpossible to adapt the average value to the future use ofyour car,e.g. if you after refueling will drive mostly in anurbanenvironment you would select only urban fuelmileages/consumptions.Another good use case is where you createyour own unique combinedfuel mileage/consumption value, for examplefour city-recordedvalues, two extra urban-recorded values and onehighway-recordedvalue.Features:-------------* US units: mile, gallon, MPG* EU units: km, litre, l/100km* SE units: mil, liter, l/100km* Local (your country) currency* Fuel Consumption/Economy Manager - a tool to get a realisticfuelconsumption/mileage value (Only full version)Keywords: e85, gas, gasoline, ethanol, calculator, flexifuel, flexifuel, flex fuel, flexible fuel, biopower, BioPower,eco,eco-driving, multifuel, consumption, mileage, fuel manager, fuelmileage, fuel economy
