Developed by the leading ICD-10 educator inthe United States in collaboration with Bruce Scott, M.D., apracticing physician, surgeon, and clinical educator, the PrecyseUniversity Doc Talk app allows the user to listen tospecialty-specific audio webinars designed to provide an overviewof the impact ICD-10 will have on each specialty. These short audiowebinars will look to educate you on the impacts within eachspecialty with specific focus on the documentation requirementsneeded for ICD-10 specificity. Each session will provide keydisease and condition examples from that specialty and illustratewhat documentation will be required for each disease. This app isperfect for physicians, physician assistants, ClinicalDocumentation Improvement Specialists/Nurses, and other clinicianswho will document or support the documentation of the medicalrecord when ICD-10 arrives. Please note that all informationprovided not only offers valuable steps for a clinician to preparefor ICD-10, but also documentation strategies that can assist todayin ICD-9. Adopting many of the examples and strategies containedwithin can improve documentation, reduce queries, drive medicalnecessity, and improve clinical care through specific andactionable data within the record.Each session is only ten to fifteen minutes in length and weoffer sessions on many of the most impacted specialties within anICD-10 world. Upon installing, all audio webinars will bedownloaded allowing you to listen to these sessions wherever youmay be and not having to worry about streaming each time and theimpact on your data usage. We will continue to produce additionalaudio webinars for other specialties and topics and will beprovided in ongoing updates to keep you continually up-to-date onICD-10 and what you can do to prepare.This is a free resource providing easy access for PrecyseUniversity clients as well as the entire medical community.
