Rudiments are basic exercises for drummers meant to increase yourspeed, ability and creativity when playing the drums. But it's justnot enough to play along a single tempo track to master them.Drumate lets you take advantage of the processing power in yourphone to generate a vast amount of training patterns from a singlerudiment. This makes it a lightweight and efficient app, since itneeds very little storage space, and it allows you to experimentwith three practice modes: • Constant: practice the rudiment at aconstant speed, with or without rests. This mode is useful whengetting used to the rudiment structure and feel. • Steps: play forsets of steps, each at its own tempo. You can go from a slow to afast tempo, or the other way round. The length of the steps isadjustable and rests can be included as well. Use this mode to pushyou further when gaining speed. • Up and Down: start at an initialtempo that will be increased on each bar, until it gets to amaximum value and then decreases to the initial value. This modeallows you to practice from "open to close to open" and is great tocover a wide range of speed to increase your resistance and speed.The rudiments can be filtered by type, and you can mark rudimentsas Favorites so you can filter them and focus on sets of rudiments.It is a great tool for musicians, specially drummers andpercussionists. Drumate is the true mate to improve your drumming!I myself am a drummer and I developed this app because I thought itwas possible to harness the power of phones to do more than justplay tracks. I have achieved this by creating an algorithm thatuses a single bar of a rudiment to generate diverse and adjustablepractice tracks that I believe will enrich the training sessions ofdrummers and interested musicians, while substantially saving phonestorage space. The app currently uses Android's internalsynthesizer for playback, but with your appreciated help andcontribution when installing Drumate Free or purchasing the Premiumversion, I will be able to buy a software license for better snareand metronome sounds. With the timer functionyou can: set the time in how many seconds for the transition ofPart A to Part B, and Part B to Part A to happen; how long you´dwant the song to last, in seconds; and the amount of beats for theturn executions. This is really useful for the executions of thesongs becoming automatic so there is no need for the musician tokeep clicking on the screen while playing or performing. 4-What isthe Mouse/Pedal Tool ? With this tool you can activate theStart/Stop controls, Intro/End control and Turns through 3 ways:Keyboard, Mouse and FS3 Pedal (USB). a) Keyboard : The controls canbe activated by the numbers 0 to 9 with an USB keyboard connectedto the cellphone. b) Mouse : The controls can be activated with aMouse with three different functions: 1 click, 2 clicks and Holdclick. The user can determine what each function will do. The usercan also make an adaptation with the mouse: to set one button (pushbutton) that will simulate a pedal tool. c) FS3 Pedal : Thecontrols can be activated with an USB pedal - FS3 model (boughtaside) that has three pedals, where the user can choose whatcontrol or function will be executed in each pedal. 5-What is theDbeats Studio ? It´s a free Android App where you can create yourown rhythms and export them into Dbeats Pro App. For you to importand play these rhythms, your Dbeats Pro subscription must beactive. 6-Is it possible to import rhythms ? The only file formatDbeats imports are the rhythms created with Dbeats Studio, that isa different Android App. This function is only active wen the userhas a monthly subscription.
