این کتاب یکی از آثار و تالیفات با ارزشعلامهملامحمد باقر مجلسی است که به زبان فارسی نوشته شده است.حیوة القلوب در قصص و احوالات پیغمبران عظام و اوصیاء ایشان (ص)میباشدو جز کتب اخبار محسوب می گردد.موضوع این کتاب مستطاب بیان فضایل و کمالات و مناقب و معجزاتوتواریخحالات اجداد گرام و آباء فخام عالی نسب استو چون مطالعه این کتاب موجب حیوة ابدی دلهای اهل ایمان می گردد آنرابه«حیوة القلوب» مسمی گردانیده است.تاریخ و داستانهای پیامبران وانبیاءمعرفی اجمالی نویسنده:علامه ملا محمد باقر مجلسی در دار السلطنه اصفهان متولد شد.تولدایشاندر خانواده ی علم و فضیلت و در عصر مرجعیت میرداماد فقیهوفیلسوف نامیاتفاق افتاد. علامه مجلسی در اواسط نیمه دوم سده ییازدهمهجری و دهسال اول سده ی دوازدهم مشهورترین دانشمند فقیه و محدثنامیشیعه امامی،و شیخ الاسلام اصفهان و سرآمد علمای آن شهر عالمپروربوده است. علامهسومین پسر ملا محمد تقی مجلسی است که او نیز ازمفاخرعلمای شیعه است ودر اواخر حکومت صفویه با پشت کار فوق العاده وحوصلهپر توانش توفیقیافت از راه تألیف و تصنیف کتابها و تدریس علوم وفنوناسلامی و تعلیمو تربیت شاگردان بسیار و اداره امور دینی شیعیانعصرخویش، آن چنانخدمت مثبت و سازنده ای به مردم مسلمان و شیعه ایرانکندکه هیچ مرجعروحانی دیگری چنین توفیقی نیافته است.علامه در شب بیست و هفتم ماه مبارک رمضان سال 1110 هـ.ق دراصفهانشهرخود به جهان باقی شتافت. ایشان را در کنار مسجد جامع،پایگاهش ونزدیکخانه اش، جنب پدر علامه اش ملا محمد تقی مجلسی مدفونکردند.آرامگاهاو در کنار مسجد جامع اصفهان واقع است.از مرحوم سيد بحر العلوم علامه طباطبائى نقل شده است كه اوآرزومىكرد كه تصانيف و نوشته هاى خودش در ديوان علامه مجلسى ثبتشودو به جاى آنها يكى از كتابهاى علامه مجلسى كه ترجمه متون اخباروبهزبان فارسى مى باشد، در ديوان او نوشته شودو اين بدان جهت بود كه عصر علامه مجلسى عصر شكوفائى دين بويژهمكتباهلبيت عليهم السلام بودو علاقمندان به خاندان اهل بيت عليهم السلام رغبت زيادى بهآشنائىباتاريخ و آثار اين خاندان داشتند،ولى چون در آن عصر اكثر كتابها عربى بودند و كمتر كتابى در اينرابطهبهفارسى ترجمه شده بود،از اين رو مرحوم علامه بزرگوار يكى از پيشگامان در اين جهت بودكهآثارو اخبار معصومين عليهم السلام را در قالب تأليفات فارسىبيانكردكه از ميان آنها كتاب حياة القلوب بود.اين اثر يكى از تأليفات نفيس بجاى مانده از علامه مجلسى است ،كه جلد اول آن درباره پيامبران گرامى عليهم السلام ،و جلد دوم در احوال پيامبر بزرگ اسلام صلى الله عليه و آلهوسلم،و جلد سوم آن در امامت مى باشد. و اين كتاب ارزشمند موردتوجهعلاقمنداندر عصر علامه مجلسى و پس از آن بوده استبويژه براى كسانى كه خواهان آشنائى با قصص انبياء عظام عليهمالسلاموجانشينان آنان و بعضى از قصه هاى مذكور در قرآن ، و آگاهى ازسيرهسيدالبشر رسول گرامى اسلام صلى الله عليه و آله و سلم و وقايعمربوطبهعصر بعثت و قبل از آن و همچنين بعد از بعثت تا هجرت و از هجرتتارحلتآن بزرگوار،و نيز در جلد سوم مسئله امام شناسى و وجوب وجود ائمه عليهمالسلاموآيات درباره امامت مورد توجه قرار گرفته است .نكته اى كه قابل توجه مى باشد در اين كتاب ،در برگرفتن تعداد بسيارى از روايات و اقوال مختلف در موضوعاتمطرحشدهدر هر يك از جلدهاى آن ، از اين رو در تحقيق سعى شده است كهازبيشترمصادرى كه مؤلف آنها را مدنظر داشته استفاده و بهآنهاارجاعشود؛و علاوه بر آنهايى كه خود او ذكر كرده ، در بعضى موارد ازمصادرديگرىاستفاده شده كه آن مطالب يا روايات در آنها آمده است چهازكتابهاىشيعه باشد و چه از كتابهاى اهل سنت ، تا بهره بردن ازكتابكاملترشود.This book is oneoftheworks and writings of Allama Mullah Mohammad Bagher valuethatiswritten in the Persian language.The great prophets and their successors in the heartsHyvhstoriesand moods (s) and other books considered news.The theme of the book The Most expressed virtues andvaluesandvirtues and miracles and chronicles the casesaugustancestorscherished and Fathers is FkhamAnd because of this book hearts of the believers is eternalHyvhit"Hyvh hearts" is called made.History and Stories of the Prophets Vanbya’The author's brief:Allama Mullah Mohammad Bagher was born in Dar al-Isfahan.Hisbirthin the family and in the age of science and virtue oftheauthorityof the jurist and philosopher named Mir Damadhappened.Allameh inthe second half of the eleventh century and thefirstdecade of thetwelfth century's most famous scientist, scholarandnarrator ofthe Shia Imami name, and Shaykh al-Islam andprominentscholars ofthe city has been educating the world.
