Rotate:Compass, usesin built compass to rotate screen, warning needs watchrotating tocalibrate. Gps mode uses direction between lastlocations to rotatescreen. Maximum offline tile count is 6,000 setby mapbox. There'sa bug which will cause the app to crash if youhave not got thelatest google play services installed on your watchand your watchdoes not have a GPS capabilities.

Offroad allows you to display offroad rights of way easily on amap.Many mapping programs show bridleways or footpaths but onlywhenextremely zoomed into the map. Or they might not show at all,withthe program not distinguish between rights of way at all.WithOffroad you can move the map to where you want to show paths,clicksearch and the app will show an overlay of the paths at anyzoomlevel. Handy for planning routes to link offroad sections.Clicksave to keep the paths downloaded for offline use. Offroaduses aservice called Overpass API to retrieve data from Open streetmaps.Default overlays included are: Foot- for showing footpathsandbridleways Bike- showing bridleways and cycleways Hikingroute-showing national or regional trails MTB route- showingnational orregional trails Motor Vehicle- Showing any track thathas motoaccess allowed.(Double check before using as Open StreetMaps itnot 100%) Water Point- Searches for amerinty=Drinkingwater(Proneto been miss labeled) To create routes you drop waypoints in thecenter of the map, either auto or manual. Auto willfollow pathsand roads and so on, where manual will just connect astraight linebetween the points. Auto should be preferred, givingyou muchbetter distance accuracy, though with open street maps,data itsnot always faultless. If junctions are not connected orpaths aremissing this is where manual comes in. You can quick jumpacrossthe problem area and continue using auto again. Save yourroute forviewing later or export a gpx file to share with otherapplicationson your phone, like Ghostracer. Open street map isbuilt by acommunity of mappers. No right of way should be taken at100percent accuracy. If there's a problem with the map then go fixitat Openstreetmaps.org and contribute. And get offroad.
