Quran is a miracle that Allah revealed to His Prophet (S.A.W.S)andit is a blessing for humanity. The Quran is not only a guidanceformankind but Allah has also made it a spiritual cure and healingforall types of ailments. This includes treatment of allworldlyproblems, physical and psychological ailments, and spiritual(evileye, sihr, and so on.) The Creator has clearly told us thatthewords of the Quran are a “shifa” (healing) for all and,therefore,when used with real belief in one’s heart, this form oftreatmentcan bring miraculous cure to all forms of ailments. Allahsays inthe Quran: "And We send down of the Quran that which is ahealingand a mercy to those who believe…" (Quran, Surah Al-Israa,17:82)Quranic Treatment and Healing Through Ruqyah. Ruqyah referstoQuranic verses (and dua) that are used to treat variousailments.The scholars (islamqa.info) have stated the followingabout ruqyah:“Ruqyah” is an incantation or prayer for healing –usually from theQuran or dua prescribed by the prophet (s.a.w.).Ruqyah is one ofthe greatest remedies that the believer should useregularly. Thegreatest of ruqyah are Surah Al-Faatihah and Al-Mu’wadaitain (thelast two surahs (chapters) of the Quran – SurahAl-Falaq and SurahAl-naas). Quran ruqyah healing : Islamic beliefsstipulate thateach disease is sent down in this world with itscure, but themeans of treatment may not be known to everyone. Whilemedicalsciences may have helped in the discovery of cures formanydiseases and ailments, there are many for which the curesstillhave to be found.
