Big Machines is a mod which adds threenewmachines to the game. The machines aren’t just one block.Insteadyou have to build a large structure consisting of severalblocks.Each machine is powered by a new type of fuel known as cokecoaland it can only be obtained by using a coke oven. This meansthemachines aren’t overpowered. Instead they are nicely balancedwhileoffering amazingly efficient ways to produce certain things.Forthis structure you will need the following blocks: Coke OvenBrick(228) – 2 bricks + 2 sand blocks Coke Oven Controller (229) –8bricks + 1 furnace big-machines-1 Now place two blocks of coalonthe inside of the oven. Then use a flint & steel on theOvenController to light it up. big-machines-2 After a few secondsthecoal blocks will be turned into Blocks of Coal Coke (ID: 233).Usea pickaxe to mine the blocks. Then use a crafting table tocraftthe blocks into Coal Coke (ID: 1605). big-machines-3 BlastFurnaceAfter you’ve produced a good amount of Coke Coal it’s timeto buildyour first machine. The Blast Furnace can triple the amountof goldor iron ores which are placed in the machine. Tap onthe theBlast Furnace Controller with the ores and then tap on itwith theCoke Coal to fuel it. After 2 minutes or so the ores willbereplaced with the blocks. In our case, gold blocks. Tap ontheBlast Furnace Controller to retrieve the blocks.big-machines-6Greenhouse The greenhouse can be used to farm moremoreefficiently. You cangrowfour types of vegetables: wheat, carrots, potatoes and beet.Placethe seeds in the chest. In this case I put 8 carrots in thechest.Simply tap on the Greenhouse Controller with 6 Coke Coaltoactivate the greenhouse machine. Every 20 seconds 8 newvegetableswill be added to the chest. You can also see the growthin thegreenhouse itself. But to collect the harvest simply grabthevegetables from the chest.

It includes realistic food such as hamburgers and tacobutalso some Minecraftian food such as the delicious diamondcookie.If you think the game is missing out on some of theworld’sdelicious food then use this mod to be able to choosebetween tensof different dishes.The new food items work just thesame way asthe default food. To eat an item you will need to firsthave somehunger. Hold down your finger on the screen to eat. Youcan find afull list of crafting recipes further down on thispage.

This mod adds more than 10 furniture tothegame. It’s a neat feature you want to decorate your worlds.Thedownside is that it’s a work in progress so there will be bugsandvery basic features right now. For example, the furnitureblocksreplace some of the original Minecraft blocks. That’s notbestpractice and hopefully the developer will address this issue inafuture update. Also, try not to use the “Back” button to exitthegame/menu because it can cause your device to crash (meaning,youhave to restart it).To obtain the furniture you need to usethecreative inventory, select the building blocks menu buttonandscroll down to the bottom. The furniture have no good icons atthemoment. Currently they use the wooden blocks and pressureplatesicons.
