Following are a fewof my favorites (with my own comment): - In Los Angeles, it isillegal for a man to beat his wife with a strap wider than 2 incheswithout her consent. (Honey, may I?) - In San Francisco, personsclassified as "ugly" may not walk down any street. (I guess I haveto stay home.) - New Mexico Constitution prevents idiots fromvoting. (Maybe other states should apply the same law.) - In DunnNC, no one may visit a cemetery after midnight. (It’s ghost-onlytime.) - In St. Croix, women are not allowed to wear anything redin public. (Are there bulls around?) - X-rays may not be used tofit shoes in Washington State. (Can it?) - In Rhode Island, no onemay bite off another's leg. (You gonna have a bigmouth to do it.) -In Jonesboro, it's illegal to say "Oh, boy". (Oh, boy!) - InAlaska, eating a neighbor's baby is strictly forbidden.
