“GDPR in your pocket” is a free mobile application developedwithinthe framework of the SMEDATA Project(https://smedata.eu/)co-funded by the “Rights, Equality andCitizenship Programme” ofthe European Union. Its purpose is tointroduce the General DataProtection Regulation (GDPR) to citizensand small and mediumenterprises (SMEs) in an easy-to-use andeasy-to-understand way,and to give them practical knowledge andadvice on their rights,respectively obligations under the EU dataprotection law. They offer a simplified‘Q&A’ wizard interface tosolve practical problems (e.g. “Doesmy organisation need a DPO?”,“Shall my organization maintain arecord of processing activities?”,etc.) based on a step-by-stepinteraction with the user; •Frequently asked questions – givesanswers to typical questions ofcitizens and SMEs based on theexperience gained in the questionsand answers procedures set up bythe Bulgarian and Italian dataprotection authorities; • GDPRdictionary – a glossary of legalterms and definitions introducedby GDPR. You can search throughoutthe content of the applicationusing the search tool available inthe Main menu (global searchfeature).
