IOIO XCSoar Bridge 1.1
Christian Jürges
This is app was created because the Koboreaderinstalled with XCSoar can not talk directly to the older(not OTG)IOIO Boards.First you need to enable Kobo's WIFI and connect it to yourWIFIHotspot activated on your android mobile device which shouldbeconnected to you ioio device. In most cases you android devicewillhave 192.168.43.1 as ip address. The app will automaticly detect when the ioio device hasbeenconnected to you IOIO and will reconnect if physical USBconnectionwas interrupted. You should also configure the correctuart portbaud rate according to the baudrate of you LX or FLARMdeviceconnected to the IOIO Board.Configure XCSoar by using the TCP client driver by setting theIPaddress and TCP port. It's also possible to connect 2 KOBO's to the bridge. Thiscouldbe interesting when flying in double seaters.TCP listen ports are defined according the XCSoar TCPclientpresets. The bridge is configured as described below:Uart 0 <--> TCP Port 4352 and 2000Uart 1 <--> TCP Port 4353 and 10110Sending command vom XCSoar to your LX or whatever device(forexample changing MC Ready) should also work, but has notbeenthroughout tested.Downloading flightlogs does not work and will probablyneverwork. This is free software, developed by Christian Jürges in myfreetime and for fun. New developers welcome. Feedbacksappreciated.Get the sourceat:https://gitlab.eqipe.ch/chris/IOIOXCSoarBridgeThanks a lot to the XCSoar team for their great work.
