We started as a small business based in Hermanus. Branched intoCapeTown. We now set up our tents all around the Cape/Overberg.Ourtents are predominantly hired for parties, weddings, musicfestivalsand functions. They are however suitable for anyevent/occasion.FAQ: Where are you based? Hermanus Are your tentswaterproof? Yes-toan extent. Water can get through along the seemsif the tent isstretched out quite severely. Or if the tent is veryold or warn.Otherwise water doesn't penetrate the material. How orwhy areBedouin/stretch tents better than marquee tents? The pro'soferecting a bedouin/stretch tents are: The bedouin/stretch tentsareless expensive to hire than a marquee tent. They're moreflexible,meaning they can be erected over trees, buildings, onunevensurfaces and over pools or ponds. How long do your tentslast? Itdepends on the way the tent has been erected and theweather. If setup correctly and the weather is forgiving, ourtents have been knownto last more than 2 years outdoors. Can thesides of the tent beflush/up against the ground? It depends on thespacing of the lugson the tent. The closer together they are, theeasier it is to getthe side of the tent flush with the ground. Howcan i find out whattent size i need? We usually recommend 2 squaremeters of tent perguest. It does however depend on whether youwant the sides of thetent up or down, whether or not there will bea dance floor underthe tent, as well as the size and shape oftables beneath the tent.Once hired. How many days do we get tokeep the tent for? Usually3-4 days. Should you require the tentfor longer than this, therewill be an additional cost. How longdoes it take to erect a tent?It depends on the size of the tent. A6x4m tent can take between 1and 2 hours, where as a very large,difficult rig can take anythingfrom 4-12 hours of work. Do yourtents comply with safetyregulations? When a tent is larger than120 square meters or is onmunicipal land it's recommended that anengineer signs it off. Wewill have to call an engineer to sign itoff at your cost. Althoughour tents have never given us anyproblems in the past,we do ask youto sign an indemnity form.Simply to be on the safe side. Are yourtents fire-proof? No, firesare prohibitted beneath our tents. It'ssimply not safe.
