Have you ever had to waste thosepreciousminutes of your time seeking through a video which issimply toolong for your liking but which you need to watch as ittalks abouta certain topic which you are interested in?Or is it that you have watched the video earlier but justdon'tremember where exactly does it talk about what you areinterestedin?Well, you don't have to waste those precious minutes anymoreas"Subtitle Searcher" comes to your rescue.It takes hardly a minute to get what you are looking for and isveryeasy to use.Here's how to use it:-1)Download the subtitles/captions of the video you areinterestedin.Make sure it has a .srt extension i.e. it should beof the form"xyz".srt2)If you downloaded the file from your phone or any otherAndroidbased device, then skip this step.However, if youdownloaded thefile on your computer, then you need to copy thefile into yourphone.You can do this either via USBcable,Bluetooth,Cloud-storageservices or any other means you findconvenient.NOTE:Make sure that you copy the file into thesdcard(internalone) and that the file is placed all by its own andnot inside anyfolder.Once you have completed this step, skip to Step 4.3)If you downloaded the file from your phone or any otherAndroidbased device, then you need to locate it on your device andcopy itto the sdcard(internal one) and make sure that the file isplacedall by its own and not inside any folder.Note that thedownloadedfile will be usually be placed in the Downloads or OtherDownloadsfolder on your device.4)Now, run the app by touching its icon on your device andenterthe name of the .srt file you downloaded in the text fieldwithoutthe extension.eg-if the file you downloaded is "xyz.srt" then you just needtoenter "xyz"(without the quotes) in the text field.NOTE:You might want to rename the file you downloaded to makeitshorter and hence easier to type in the text field.5)Click on the "Load Subtitles" button.If the loadingwassuccessful, you will see the loaded subtitles in the textfieldbelow the button.If the loading was unsuccessful however, youwillget the message-"File not found".In case you get this message, make sure that the .srt fileyoudownloaded is correctly placed and that the name you enteredisexactly the same as the file's name i.e. even the case isthesame.6)Now, enter the phrase/word you want to search for in thetextfield at the bottom.Note that it is case-sensitive.7)Now, click on the "Search" button and Voila, you wouldbepresented with the results in the hh/mm/ss format.In case no matches are found you will get the message-"Nomatchfound".8)To make another search, simply press the Back button onyourdevice to do so.If you liked the app, please recommend it to your friends sothatthey too can enjoy using this app.Any feedback and comments are most welcome.Minimum requirements:-Android 2.3.3 and above.

Using this app, one can send and receivedatafrom devices such as an Ultrasonic sensor connected to theArduinousing Bluetooth.For connecting the Arduino connected device to the mobilephoneusing Bluetooth, an HC-05 module was used.The ultrasonic sensor was placed at the front of a remotecontrolledmanual robot (car).Once connected, the ultrasonic sensor will transmit thedistanceof the nearest object and this will be displayed on themobilephone in our app.The Arduino was programmed for a list of commands toberecognized such as - "Forward", "Back", "Left", "Right"and"Stop".The app uses Android's built-in speech recognition softwareforperforming speech recognition and passes this text to theArduinowhich then performs the required command.The ultrasonic sensor sends the nearest object's distance totheArduino, which then sends it to the app using the HC-05Bluetoothmodule.
