Our new ‘FBTO Jij stuurt' app provides aninsight into your driving behaviour.FBTO takes safety very seriously and we think it can be evensafer in the future. Therefore, FBTO together with the Universityof Groningen and a group of customers launched an investigationinto car insurance for the future. Part of this research is via a dongle that plugs into your carwhich measures your driving style. Only when you really know howyour driving is, can you improve it. The dongle gathers informationfrom the moment you start your car to the moment you turn it offagain. This app works as a companion to allow you view informationabout your driving habits.The App and dongle work completely independently from each otherand the app never communicates directly with the dongle. The dongleworks on its own and sends information securely to our servers andthe app is used to visualise this data.All data and information we collect is kept in a secureenvironment. The University of Groningen is an independent party thatanalyses the data along with FBTO.Important Note: This app requires you to be a customer of ‘FBTOJij stuurt’ who will provide you a dongle for your car.
