Sonic Lingo is a fun and easy way tolearnvocabulary words for elementary school, high school orevencollege. It allows you to create multiple vocabulary wordlists.Once a list is created, you can assign vocabulary wordanddefinition pairs to the list. An additional feature allows youtooptionally associate a stored song from your device witheachword/definition pair to enhance your memorization skills.

Once you have constructed your vocabulary list, you canchoosethe STUDY operation to review your vocabulary words andtheirdefinitions. If you have selected a song with the vocabularyword,it will automatically play as you study each wordanddefinition.

Then, challenge yourself by PLAYING the game. Sonic Lingowillprovide you with a random definition from your list andprovides upto 4 possible vocabulary word choices. If a song wasselected to beused with the word/definition pair, it will play toprovide a clue.The game keeps track of your answer attempts andprovides you witha final score after all of the definitions areprovided from yourlist. Challenge yourself and your friends to getthe bestscore.

Sonic Lingo can also be used in music therapy as a funactivityfor patients with memory retention difficulties. It issimple touse and vocabulary list can be tailored to eachindividual.

Sonic Lingo was conceived as a senior project by a highschoolstudent who was studying the relationship between memory andmusic.This app is the result of her work. We hope you enjoy it andfindit useful.

Sonic Lingo Lite is a free version that is limited to3vocabulary lists. Each list is limited to 7 word/definitionpairs.Sonic Lingo supports an unlimited number of vocabulary listswithan unlimited number of word/definition pairs per list.
