Natalie Bassingthwaighte is a multi-talentedAustralianpersonality. She is known for her contribution to avariety ofmusic related and non-music projects: as the former faceand voiceof Melbourne-based electro-pop outfit Rogue Traders, assoap operasiren Izzy Hoyland in "Neighbours" (2003-2007), as thehost of "SoYou Think You Can Dance Australia" and as a judge on theAustralianversion of "The X-Factor".

A Wollongong girl at heart, she is aself-proclaimed'entertainer' and has dabbled in everything frommusical theatre(performing in national productions of Rent, Chicagoand Grease),writing (she co-authored Sistahood: A Journal ofSelf-Discoverywith sister Nicky), and film (starring opposite JesseJohnson inlow-budget thriller Prey (2009).

Her first solo album, entitled 1000 Stars, was releasedinFebruary 2009.
