The explosive growth of wirelesscommunicationsand especially the deployment of Wi-Fi equipmentcomes with agrowing concern regarding health effects due to thisprolonged EMFexposure. This concern arises from people which claimthat theysuffer from various symptoms (such as headaches, nausea,tiredness,concentration difficulties and heart palpitation) whenexposed toEMF radiation, and has motivated us to create the WiFiExposureMeter application to measure and evaluate the EMF exposurelevelsgenerated from WiFi access points and wireless routers.

WiFi Exposure Meter compiles a worldwide EMF exposurelimitsdatabase based on international standards and guidelinesthatallows a user to evaluate the measured EMF exposure levelagainstthese standards and guidelines. Depending on the findings aWiFiuser may decide to lower this exposure by lowering thetransmittedWiFi power or move the WiFi equipment.
