Today’s graduate and undergraduate studentsarein a much different place financially than previous generationsofstudents. At a time when public funding for education isdecreasingand student debt is rising, more students are taking ondebt tosupport their educational aspirations. Many others arechoosing todefer graduate study because of the expense, or aredeciding againstit altogether.

In response, the Council of Graduate Schools, funded by agrantfrom TIAA-CREF, has launched a project to help students learnhowto successfully manage their finances and educational costs. Asaparticipating institution of this project, LoyolaUniversityChicago has developed this mobile application to enhancethefinancial literacy of its graduate and undergraduate students.Ourgoal is to put information on a variety of important aspectsoffinancial literacy right at students’ fingertips.

The application includes:
• Information on a number of topics, including budgeting,loans,taxes, and more.
• Links to student discounts and finance blogs.
• Financial contacts for more help!
