Developed by the Law and Technology CentreofThe University of Hong Kong, the “Community LegalInformationCentre” (CLIC) is a free bilingual mobile appspecifically cateredfor people with no legal background.

Users of mobile devices running Android can browse andsearchlegal information that have most interest and direct bearingon thedaily lives of ordinary citizens in Hong Kong by using CLICforAndroid. Users may acquire a basic understanding of therelevantlaw before seeking advice from lawyers, and to inform thegeneralpublic about where to seek free or subsidized legalassistance.

Features of the CLIC app include:
• comprehensive browsing through various popular legalissues,including matrimonial matters, employment disputes, landlordandtenant, immigration issues, police and crime;
• quick search in over 20 legal topics;
• easy switch between languages (English, Traditional ChineseandSimplified Chinese);
• contents automatically cached for offline reading.
