nRF Beacon for Eddystone is an application that supports thenewEddystone GATT configuration service allowing users toconfigureyour beacon to advertise all types of Eddystone frametypes fromUID, URL, TLM and the newest EID and eTLM frame types. Inadditionthe application uses Nearby API for scanning Eddystonebeacons inclose proximity and Google Proximity API to register UID,EIDbeacons and create/retrieve attachments for them on theProximityAPI cloud. The basic features of the applicationincludes-Foreground and background scanning of beacons using NearbyAPIwhich are registered on the Proximity API. Once an EID beaconisregistered to the cloud with an attachment, the Nearby APIwillsend the beacon EID packet to the proximity API, resolves theEIDpacket and retrieve the data attached to it.
