Quick Calc Hydraulics Calculator provides a snapshot of thehydraulic horsepower, jet velocity, and impact forces created at ajet nozzle orifice, which is installed in a drilling bit duringearth-boring operations. The user provides numbers for fluiddensity, flow rates, TFA, and bit diameter, and Quick CalcHydraulics then calculates the respective hydraulic parameters forconventional drilling fluids. Air, mist, and foam fluids are notsupported at this time. The calculated results can be forwarded toanyone in the user’s contact list.
