オプティカル イリュージョンは、そんな目の錯覚を簡単に起こさせることができるアプリなのです。
このアプリでは、「色の残効」という目の錯覚を利用しています。人間の脳は、「変化のない情報を無視する」という性質があります。同じ色を見続けていると、だんだん、その色が見えているという反応が弱くなり、その色の反対色の信号を強く出すようになります。このことを利用して、予め、元々のカラー画像を反対色に加工したものをまず表示し、一定時間見続けた後、無彩色（白色や灰色）の画像（元の画像の白黒画像）を見れば、一瞬カラーで見えるのです。

使い方は簡単！
端末内かアプリのサンプルから画像を選ぶか、カメラで撮影して、錯覚を起こしたい画像を決め、「次へ」ボタンをタップして、その後の説明画面で、「錯覚開始」ボタンをタップするだけ。
選んだ画像を反対色に加工した画像が一定時間表示され、その後に、選んだ画像の白黒画像が表示されます。

このアプリはベータ版です。
今後、このアプリにより再生される映像を動画およびGIFアニメ画像に変換し、YouTubeやTwitterに投稿する機能を実装予定です。
